I have been frequent this establishment long before it was rap n roll. At least 15years. It was one of the few places you could still get an old fashioned 'burger with the lot' in bondi. I was devastated when they decided to sell up shop. However, I was stoked when rap n roll opened up and offered the grease burger, which is essentially a burger with the lot. I have continued to buy a grease burger and chips ( the chips have always been very good) on a regular basis, living just around the corner. The lady that use to work during day (South American maybe?) was always lovely and the food always fantastic.
For at least the last 6 months this place has gone downhill. I think I have been in denial so I keep going back, each time is getting worse and worse. I am pretty sure the ownership has changed and they are running it to the ground.
The last time I went I asked for the burger and large chips. The large chips was very small, in fact smaller than the amount I usually get with $6 upgrade to chips and can of drink. I paid $7 for lge as my wife wanted some. I figured they messed my order so let it slide.
Went back tonight, wife wanted chips, so on phone (that you can hardly ever get theough to) I asked what are the largest size chips, which were the $7 size, and reiterated I wanted large. I can tell you the are NOT a large size, well certainly not in comparison to the past. To charge $7 for a hand full of chips is pretty off.
The burger tonight was terrible which has prompted this review. Raw patty, way over cooked egg and roll was toasted so that it just tasted stale like croutons. Went in the bin and I am making a toasted sandwich. Gave small chips to wife.
Avoid this place they really don't care anymore. Looks dirty too, use to be very clean, even male worker look dirty.

Β Β Β Read moreI recently had the pleasure of visiting rap and roll, and I must say, it was an extraordinary culinary experience. Located in Bondi, this kebab shop has truly mastered the art of creating mouthwatering kebabs that leave a lasting impression. As soon as I stepped inside, the inviting aroma of freshly grilled meat filled the air, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality, and the quality of the food was truly exceptional. It was an authentic kebab experience that will transport your taste buds to the...
Β Β Β Read moreMe and my brother had a late night kebab here. I took the lamb kebab. The owner had no more tabouli that night and apologised but it was still a 10/10 kebab for me. My brother had the falafel "hurricane" (if i recall the name correctly), a lady there asked him what he had ordered as it looked yummi. Great value for money and a friendly shop keeper means the world to me. I definitely recommend this small food venue for a pit stop feed in Bondi surrounds. Keep up the good work,...
