What Happened Order placed via app: I followed the app’s instructions and swiped to begin the cooking process upon arrival.
Waited patiently: While waiting, I noticed other patrons who ordered after me at the counter received their meals first.
Order ignored: After two customers who ordered after me received their food, I asked about my order. The staff member (who was quite rude) checked and found my bag had been sitting there for some time.
Contradictory staff rules: When I asked why my order wasn’t called out, I was told it was my responsibility to notify the staff of my arrival. This directly contradicts the app’s instructions, which indicate that swiping “begin cook” is all that’s required to signal readiness for collection.
Staff attitude: The staff member’s response was dismissive and unhelpful, showing little concern for the confusion.
Main Issues Staff ignoring app process: The app is clear about the process, but staff are enforcing their own rules that go against what the app instructs.
Poor customer service: The staff’s attitude and lack of communication made the experience frustrating.
Lack of training: Staff appear unfamiliar with how the app is intended to work and are not following the official process.
Suggestions for Improvement Staff should be retrained to follow the app’s instructions and not impose their own rules on customers.
Orders should be called out promptly, regardless of how they are placed.
The company should ensure consistent communication between app instructions and in-store procedures to avoid confusion.
Overall, this experience left me feeling ignored and undervalued as a customer. I hope Red Rooster addresses these issues so that app users receive the service promised by the...

My food arrived with blood throughout my chicken wrap. I immediately attempted to call the store to let them know that they had sent me inedible chicken and that I would like a replacement. Nobody answered the phone. Attempted a second time about an hour later- somebody seemingly answered but did not say a word and then hung up.
I resorted to emailing. The staff were rude, dismissive and couldn't have cared less. Treated me as if I was completely inconveniencing them.
They (apparently) attempted to contact menulog to find out my order number. They came back and told me that menulog "didn't have any record of me" and the so called "customer service" ended with "Thanks for your time today."
That's what you call a resolution?
Judging from other reviews on here and Red Rooster responses, I am assuming I will get a response of excuses and implying that this isn't true. Fortunately I have kept all correspondence to report this further.
Never again will I purchase from this store.
Thank you for your time today - Red...
Read moreI gave this store 3 chances to redeem itself. But every time is just plain bad. I ordered two rooster rolls and it was so dried up and had no sauce. It was uneatable. When returned I explained to the young staff politely and if they can remake it. The young where extremely rude to me and said "BUT I MADE IT THIS MORNING" It was night time. I gave her a weird look and said can you please remake it, it's bad. Mind you I order from other red roosters and they are fine. Then the staff literally emptied a whole mayo bottle onto the two remade rolls while laughting. I advised the managers via phone the next day and was not willing to return. I gave it another chance recently and again same issue. Dried up rooster roll. I also had a ripper box meal. It was suppose to have 2 chicken pieces, a Ripper roll etc. The 2 pieces of chicken where so tiny it would of been half the size of my pinky... And I have small hands and the ripper roll had lettus that was old and decaying. So I got ripper ripped off in the long run. Honestly don't know how this place...
