In Rockdale's heart, where echoes dance, There lies a bistro, a charming trance. Amongst the tennis courts' embrace, A haven of solace, a welcoming place.
Through its doors, a warm light spills, Soft whispers of comfort, the air fulfills. Wooden tables, with stories to tell, Of victories, defeats, and matches well.
On the walls, framed moments in time, The clink of glasses, a gentle chime. Plates of gold with culinary art, Savoring flavors that touch the heart.
The scent of coffee, rich and deep, Mingles with laughter, a melody sweet. Patrons gather, their spirits alight, Sharing tales of the day's fierce fight.
Outside, the courts are a lively scene, Where athletes chase dreams, keen and serene. Yet within these walls, a calm respite, For souls to linger in twilight's light.
So here in Rockdale, where passions blend, The bistro stands, a cherished friend. A refuge, a comfort, a place to unwind, Where the joy of the game and good...

Read moreI tried working out why this extremely mediocre establishment was getting 'rave reviews" for the greek restaurant in premises. I mean i really tried by agreeing 2waste ny time twice bcz thoughthat Sunday's busyness may have caused neighbour's cat to rejecthe octopys & grilled John Dory(thankfully out of lobster or it would've been more waste). 2nd time round on a Friday, calamari & salad was edible, barramundi still tasteless-went in bin along with chips. Owner's attitude(arrogantly unprofessional)when asked whether octopus wasoft.."its octopus". I have now figured it out; its a large portion(of xtremely unpalatable food)which appeals to a certain demographic. Added to the drab atmosphere, if u r looking for sonewhere pleasanto enjoy a meal, this isnthe place to consider under any...
