Today for lunch: Went in for Vermicelli salad with pork and prawns spring rolls where my workmates got veggie spring rolls.

My dish came with veggie spring rolls, I tired to tell the staff that it was incorrect. They tried to advise there was mince in there.

One staff member put their hand in my bowl (gloved, but still!!!) To break up the spring rolls between her fingers to show me that there was mince. When she could see there was no mince they offered to make me the correct spring rolls.

I wanted to enjoy my meal in the limited time I had here but after having that experience I lost my appetite and couldn't continue. I asked for my money back. One of the staff kept trying to say they couldn't refund because they were just "staff" and there was no manager on board.

They could make me a new one and I could just take it away if I didn't have the time to dine in.

Absolutely disgusting. Would...

Vegan menu NOT VEGAN. Had the vermicelli salad with tofu and the tofu was fried in same oil as pork as it absolutely reeked of it 🤮

If they had called it ‘vegetarian’ I wouldn’t have had such a qualm with it - please don’t have a dedicated vegan menu when clearly your understanding of veganism is not up to speed with the times.

update in response to owners reply (Google doesn’t allow for counter responses) I don’t know how your staff prepared my meal that night but it clearly had been prepared in/with something that had pork, pork fat in it, or had been in contact with pork at one stage.

Pork smell/taste is very recognisable and I had my friend who I was with try it (they eat meat) and they agreed it tasted of pork. Do better please - or don’t claim to be vegan if you and your staff are not au fait with how to prepare...

An inviting atmosphere, very clean and bright with open Bay windows making this restaurant a perfect place for lunch. Three ladies were serving behind the counter, very efficient, polite with fast service. I had the regular pho beef and lychee lemonade. The serving was smaller than other similar Vietnamese Pho I've had but delicious nonetheless. I find there's more broth than anything else in the Pho. The lychee lemonade I wouldn't order again, it's just ordinary store-bought lemonade with two lychees dropped inside the drink with large amounts of ice cubes! Reasonably priced though with plenty of small dishes to share. Good for group. There's wheelchair accessible entrance and outdoor seating. There's no public lavatory here. It's a short stroll to...

Restaurant is open and nice, comfortable yet casual. Offer variety of vietnamese street food. Rather disappointment with the dish I got. Ordered a dish which was recommended, combo grilled meat with rice. All meat was pre-grilled and sat in those warmer for a while. They were dry and some even hard to chew. Not sure their noodle soup is better. However, there are so many other vietnamese restaurants in these area. Not sure I will go back and try other dishes.

Unfortunately, the male staff member with glasses didn’t seem to know how to smile. He took my order in a cold, indifferent manner and didn’t even say thank you. I felt unwelcome even before the food arrived. People are often drawn to a place not just for the taste, but for the atmosphere and quality of service. I don’t think it’s fair for someone whose English isn’t perfect to get annoyed at a customer’s imperfect English.
