The masonic centre was not ideal for the candlelight concert unfortunately. At least when we sat up on the second floor, it was a real struggle trying to enjoy the music. It was like volume 6 out of 10 - which basically meant that a lot of the intricacies of the music is lost is our struggle to even hear it. What a bummer. Either the violins should be mic up or if they were, to be louder. I was looking forward to being engulfed by the music but instead was cupping my ears just to hear them. Though I think the cellist was nice to give his commentaries, I would prefer much less talking and just hearing the music actually. Commentaries could be better saved for a brochure or something. I felt like I was watching a Behind-The-Scenes YouTuber explaining the pieces which didn't quite help the concert atmosphere unfortunately.

Attended the Valentines classic songs of love concert, what an incredible experience. Presenters were very sweet and provided clear instructions at the beginning. The seating areas are allocated, however within those areas it is choose your own seating. So best to come I little earlier, despite this we entered on time and still had an amazing view of the musicians. The Sydney Masonic Centre is a beautiful location in itself and a wonderful host to the Candle light Concerts, I’d love to go again.

Wonderul building! Went here for the Fever Candlelight concert for tribute to Joe Hisaishi. So beautiful! I highly recommend this event and the venue itself. The hall is medium size, with some seating upstairs. The toilet is very clean. There is also a cafe inside, but it was closed when I visit on Saturday. About the performers, they are Phoenix Collective, it was a string quartet. They were magnificent! I really enjoyed their show!

Candlelight Metallica at Sydney Masonic Centre

The Sydney Masonic Centre was a good venue for the 'Candlelight Metallica' concert presented by Fever. The building’s interesting architecture and the warm candlelight created an inviting and atmospheric setting for the performance.

The sound quality was clear and well-suited to the style of the concert. While the seating was relatively basic, it was adequate for the length of the event, and most seats offered reasonable views of the stage.

DINING There are plenty of dining options available nearby, including fast food outlets, pubs, and a range of Asian restaurants, making it convenient for attendees to enjoy a meal beforehand.

PARKING Parking options around the venue are somewhat limited. There is no on-street parking directly available, though a Secure Parking facility is located across the road. Another option is the Wilson Car Park at 175 Liverpool Street, which is within a short walking distance. Pricing at these car parks can vary, so it is advisable to check rates beforehand. The Wilson Car Park, in particular, has received mixed reviews due to narrow spaces, and may be less suitable for larger vehicles.

SUMMARY Overall, the Sydney Masonic Centre provided a good experience for this type of event. It offered a comfortable environment with accessible amenities nearby. I would consider attending future performances...

I recently attended a cocktail party at SMC, and I must say that it was an outstanding experience. The food was exceptional, and the service was excellent. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the friendly and attentive staff who went above and beyond to make sure that every guest felt welcome and comfortable.

The menu was thoughtfully curated, featuring a range of delicious bites and beverages that catered to all dietary preferences.

What impressed me the most, however, was the quality of service. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, and they made sure that every guest had a drink in their hand and a plate of food in front of them. They were knowledgeable about the menu and the ingredients, and they were happy to answer any questions or make recommendations.

Overall, I would highly recommend SMC as a venue for your next cocktail party. The food and service were exceptional, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. It's clear that the team at SMC takes pride in what they do, and it shows in every aspect of their work. Thank you for a...
