This would be a 3 or 4 star, it's a two because there small error. It wasn't on purpose at all everyone makes the mistakes but that's the difference between a good meal and an poor meal to be fair. The interaction was professional and the greeting was warm and friendly. However like I do with every single Chinese restaurant and Vietnamese restaurant that I go to that's new ( I go to new ones almost every month , as I choose not to cook... at all.Haven't done so since 2008). And as a rule whenever I go to a new restaurant my first ever meal at that restaurant will be the same as the others that share that Heritage. So being a Chinese restaurant my first meal always is their best fried rice and a satay chicken, if it was a Middle Eastern restaurant, it'll be three lamb skewers and the fattouch always for the first meal. And then I said what I always say when I order this meal no bean sprouts then I said again no beef sprouts. My fried rice ended up being under a bed of about centimetre thick bean sprouts the server possibly wasn't paying attention... not sure, I know for a fact it wasn't Lost in Translation because I've ordered this meal 30 times before and this has never this is happened. Regardless it was easy to take off and actually just peeled off quite easily and I was able to eat my fried rice, albeit the top of the fried rice did have that awful earthy flavour of the bean sprouts. Satay chicken was flavourful so it overpowered the residual flavour of the bean sprouts. So without the mess up normally I would have given this meal at 3 1/2 from 5...

I had a delivery from Serein via UberEats today and both the food and the delivery were excellent.

The chicken sam choy bow was tasty and the lettuce leaves were fresh, crisp and big.

The Salt and Pepper crispy tofu (with chilli) was lovely. Just the right amount of crispness and seasoning.

My favourite was the Special Duck and Asparagus Fried Rice which was so delicious. It was cooked well, had a great flavour and a good amount of duck.

All portions were good and the food was hot when it arrived.

I didn't have a very good experience the first time I ordered from you 3 months ago, the delivery took 58 mins and one of the containers was cracked and leaked everywhere but today's delivery and food were outstanding. The wait staff were run off their feet. The service was shocking - not the staffs fault, I'd imagine management. We waited over an hour for our meal and it came out in stages. Boiled rice served 15 minutes before mains.. cold by that time. People who arrived later than us were served before us. Soy sauce not on table when dumplings served, but two on a reserved table with no one there..

As much as I have tried to forgive the wait staff, some were clearly stressed and so customer service was minimal - after my delayed dish was served with it being dropped on our table without a word, we decided to take ours home... I would have asked for a refund but I didn't want to make a scene and they were already over-worked and stressed as it was.
