This experience was so upsetting... I have no words to explain. Because of these guys, a mother with a 1 month old baby and a dad who got home from 12 hour shift today could not have dinner.
I came to these guys asking for a biryani with low spice. They said I'd have to wait 20min because the pre-cooked biryani they had was too spicy and they'd have to make a special chicken 65 biryani with no spice. So I did wait. I waited 30min. Finally got the biryani. I thanked them for this and of course paid for the bucket of biryani.
Upon getting to my friends who are from Brazil and cannot handle much spice, I realise these guys put in extra spice into this biryani. It was so spicy that it was clear this was intentional. I've had spicy biryani before. But this one had a million chillies in it and clearly extremely intentionally made extra spicy.
The worst thing is that I can handle spicy good myself. It doesn't bother me much. But the people I took the food for could not eat at all. In fact they will never again eat biryani because of this. She is a young mother who just got back from the hospital after receiving treatment.
What a terrible experience. What a horrible representation of Indian food and culture. I'll tell my friends for years about my experience...

Fluffy, fragrant basmati rice that’s been slow-cooked to perfection, with tender, succulent chicken that just melts in your mouth. Hats off to the chefs at Spice of Hyderabad, they’ve mastered the art of delivering authentic, knockout dishes. Absolutely...

What's not to love! The food is authentic and delicious. The portion sizes are value for money and the cost is very reasonable - definitely no over-inflating of prices. The biriyani is amazing and one of the best I've had outside of India. They are just that good!
They have a variety of dishes on the menu to cater for all needs and everything is cooked to perfection. We've never had a bad meal when ordering from Spice of Hyderabad.
Definitely worth the visit if you want great quality, authentic and delicious...
