Sadly I did not have a pleasant experience at this GYG at all. The only justification for the 2 star rating is that the food tasted decent to the GYG standard across the chain. The negative feedback comes in relation to the lack of customer service I received when collecting an online order. I went to the collection counter, stood right up to the front where 4 different staff members gave me eye contact, but continued working. I was not greeted, I was not informed that they wouldn't tend to me shortly if they were busy, no... What I heard was the great conversations between the staff members about what their plans were for the weekend. 10 minutes passed and multiple orders were called out that were well beyond my order number so after saying "excuse me" twice, I had to raise my voice to get the attention of staff not even 5 metres away. Third time was the charm. I asked wher my order was, to which the staff member pulled it out of a drawer (it was ready the entire 15 minutes I was waiting). I then informed the staff that no one had bothered to check in on their customers and to see what they were waiting on as they were too involved between making orders and having personal conversations. They have no response to this so I took my order and left as I was now late for a work meeting due to this whole inconvenience. I would've had more luck ordering in store and waiting to the side instead of pre ordering to "save time". What an absolutely appalling display of customer service. Please train your staff on the basic fundamentals of balancing work duties and acknowledging customer presence. It will lead to far less unpleasant...

I usually drive to sevenhills for GYG, but sometimes I come here to give it a try but every time I regret because of parking being the 1st reason.

I ordered mini nachos,chickenfilling, hot sauce. Burrito regular, chicken filling, hot sauce. 3, Medium fries with extra seasoning.

Takeaway

I picked the order and instead of giving in bag, they gave in small bag and handed to me and as soon as I grabbed it, bag was torn and chips fell off. Okay I accepted it might be my mistake not to hold it from the bottom I walked away saying sorry to the lady because I caused them trouble for cleaning.

Came home and opened the burrito and realised there was no hot sauce and it is dry as grass, on my partner’s nachos there is no hot sauce and no sour cream. She eats GYG once a week and she is utterly disappointed and pointed fingers on me that I should've checked.

Guys I asked for hot chicken and you guys gave mild but no sauce at all things, how can any customer open and check order while having a take away and by the time we realise the order is wrong or not expected it is too late.

I could’ve given 3 star or 4 but every point of thing was wrong, order taken was wrong, chef did worst job in toppings, No proper takeaway bag, all chips fell on floor(It could be my mistake aswell), paid $30 and disappointed. We've ordered from this gyg store around 5 times now since moving to the area and honestly it's consistently the worst performing store we've ever visited (and we frequently get gyg). It doesn't matter how far in advance you order on the app, the food is never ready (anywhere from 5 to 25 mins, even when you get a notification saying it's ready). The order is never made correctly. Half the food is prepared and then sits around waiting for the last items which means it's cold by the time you get it. We ordered churros one time and it was seasoned with fry salt instead of cinnamon sugar. The staff don't really care that it's miles slower than other stores, and from what I can tell they use their order system to mark orders as complete so that the stats are ok but they're constantly having to go into the past order tickets to figure out what to put in each bag.

I tried to give feedback through the GYG app but the form is so exhausting to fill out I gave up halfway through.

I hope the store can change management or train staff better because it's not a good look for...
