Considering that this place is highly rated with locals, this cafe doesn’t provide the best quality of food and drinks. I’ve visited here multiple times to try and get different things to try and have ordered online through Ubereats as well. The salad bowls are good, the protein however is not seasoned and bland. Tried the knafeh toast and it was rich, delicious, and authentic tasting. Tried a mango smoothie while dining in and it ended up somehow tasting bland with no sugar or sweetness to it. I however did bring this up and the manager gave me a refund for it which was very nice.

Since lockdown, I’ve been ordering through Ubereats and the menu is just stupidly overpriced for what you get. It’s a 2 minute delivery, and I understand that they have to wait for drivers to arrive and they have to increase prices for profit as Ubereats takes a percentage, but the food shouldn’t be tasting like cardboard. Chips I understand, but the fish piece was small and cardboard like on the inside. The sweet potato fries are good and seem to be super popular so they decided to increase the price to $10 instead of $9 all of a sudden.

Coffee is not that great. You can walk 2 minutes to get really good graded coffee at brew crew than get it from here. Ordered an iced mocha and they gave me a hot mocha when on their menu through Ubereats there is no option for a hot mocha. So was charged $8 for a small hot mocha.

I admit, I am fussy with my coffee and foods, but I just can’t understand how this place is reviewed so well when I’ve repeatedly been given low quality food for...

Great coffee, potentially the best in St Ives if the owner makes it. If the younger lady is on the machine then I walk back out. Not worth paying for coffee flavoured dishwater. The mother at the front desk who takes the orders needs to brighten up, smile, show a bit more interest in customers and listen properly. 9 times out of ten you're greeted with a scowl, asked what you want very bluntly and she then turns away while you're ordering before asking you whay you want again. She gets the order wrong most times and has never gotten my name right once in the last two years despite me telling her my name, then correcting her when she says "Hey?" Or repeats the wrong name. I've had my coffee given to other people multiple times because they're not sure whose coffee belongs to which customer.

Food takes absolutely ages, but on the most part is fantastic. Bacon and egg roll isn't the best unfortunately which is pretty sad. Just too bland, dry and very expensive for what it is.

Don't bother going on a weekend morning if you're in a hurry. We waited one and a half hours between sitting down and getting our food. We actually had to go and buy some food somewhere else for our kids who were having meltdowns.

My advice - talk to your customers, be friendly, give the poor Dad out the back a hand cooking the food, train anyone else that makes the coffees, try for consistency with the coffee and give mum a hearing aid and a holiday. Hopefully she will smile and get people's...

I didn’t realise this café existed - it was tucked in the back alleyway - since we live on the other side of Mona Vale Road. My daughter wanted to have breakfast on the way home from her training on Sunday and I suggested we go and try. Interior was a little out-of-date but it was busy and that gave me a little hope that food could be good. We had Breakfast stack and Eggs benedict with Chai latte. Food was alright but they didn’t wow me for their price. When I went to pay at the counter, price was a bit more than what it should’ve been. I was a little puzzled and my daughter then said there was 10% Sunday surcharge. I said I didn’t see anything like that on the menu, that’s when my daughter pointed the board behind the counter. Yes, it was there even though it was not readily noticeable. Not only that, I felt a strange vibe that the waitress didn’t want to give me change when I paid cash. I waited for change and got them at the end but realised they were short. I could have put the change in the tip jar but I really don’t like it when they presume. They had some interesting dishes on the menu which I truly wanted to come back and try but at this stage I don’t know if I...

Our first impressions of this cafe were a little questionable, as the venue is tucked down an alley and opens directly onto the car park. However, we quickly re-calibrated our expectations upon entry. The funky vibe and industrial feel is quite edgy, with modern music playing in the background. Service was prompt and the coffee was superb. I ordered a meal from the specials board that incorporated delicious figs with prosciutto, a culinary match made in heaven. My partner ordered the Goodfella which features crumbed eggplant. After savouring my dish he said I definitely ordered the better meal. I was half expecting this cafe to be pretentious, but I was pleased to note diners of all age groups, including seniors and young families. Overall a great experience, although one of the waitresses we found quite charmless. Maybe we caught her on a bad day.

Great little Cafe tucked away in St Ives. Food was great, wait time and prices were horrible. When we arrived the Cafe was full of ppl having coffee, so assumed the food would be out pretty quickly but unfortunately we waited 35 mins for our food ☹ The food was good portion sizes except only getting 2 cherry tomatoes they were delicious so made up for the wait time. However, $57 for 2 breakfast, 1 coffee and an Orange juice is outrageous. No wonder not many ppl were eating when we arrived.....No one can afford the food !! 😳 Tables also weren't1.5 meters apart, and only half the staff were wear masks with noone waiting to order in line wearing masks.

Food: amazing food. You can really taste that they use fresh ingredients. Well balanced flavours. We also went back on another occassion and tried the Tradie Roll (not pictured) which was also great, especially the hashbrown, and Ham & Cheese croissant. They use "real", good quality ham and cheese. Would highly recommend. Drinks: chai was absolutely divine. They use a real spice mix, rather than a powdered mix so the chai flavour was strong which I like. Customer service: can feel like they're understaffed when it's busy at the cafe. Other: kid friendly, parking available directly outside the cafe (but limited)
