Arrived at the RSL and was greeted by the door man, was escorted to the restaurant. Venue was beautiful with friendly staff. Water was always filled. Very expensive for poor pub styled food. Gravy was NOT GRAVY. I don't know what it was but it was all wrong, on all three dishes!!!! I had the brisket pot pie and it was very bland. We had ordered t-bone steaks one cooked medium rare as ordered and other was med well and was undercooked. Having a denture plate it was hard to chew at $35 a steak you think it would be cooked as asked. Kids spaghetti for my 1 year old was cooked with wine which she did not eat, a waste of $18 . Upon arrival i had confirmed booking twice after speaking to the manager, once seated wait staff proceeded to ask us to stand from our table so they could take 1 table away plus our extra seat, so they could fit more people into the restaurant. We booked a week in advance for 12 and they took from us to cater for a walk in so my baby had to sit on the corner of the table and wasn't able to feed herself her meal that we had paid $20 for. Very expensive kids meals. Beautiful venue, beautiful staff but unfortunately won't be back at over $400 for a poor family dinner they fell short in more places than 1. Our local pub serves better meals for half the price and...
Read moreGreat looking relaxed restaurant, nice decor. Food is top notch, had the special for lunch, good value , good quality and nice sized portions. The staff are attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. Perhaps management can speak to the staff about it, as it does take away from the relaxing atmosphere of the restaurant, and could possibly cause some restaurant goers...
