Sunny's Takeaway — Restaurant in Sydney

The food may be an attraction , but the ugliness of the exterior of the building ( 55 Mitchel St Chifley ) is horrific ! The owners must be making a huge income and yet they can not be bothered to modernize and make the facade of building and interior more attractive. The many different types of building materials all thrown together on the facade are an eyesore to the neighborhood. Just wondering how clean the back kitchen / storage area is ? Also wish the owners would spend more time removing rubbish customers throw on the ground outside their shop.

I don't usually give negative reviews but I had to write something here. After a nice afternoon at the beach we felt like fish and chips we went here and were beyond disappointed. The food seems to be cooked in old oil and comes out super greasy. We got battered sav, potato scallops, prawn cutlets, chilli squid and honey prawns. Even the prawn chips left a disturbing film of oil on the fingers and mouth. We couldn't finish the food. We are now left feeling really gross as it keeps repeating on us. The place looks unclean also. Maybe if you sort out your batter and oil it might be better...🤢 sorry to be so negative just had...

The food at Sunny's Takeaway is not great, you can say it's average, the takeaway containers are too small and the food quality it's average and the meat dishes are too tuff not tender how it should be, prices a pricey for what you pay for, you would expect to be a higher better quality and the prce tag that goes with it, you also get charged for a bag, which is extra on top of your food.

The service is the same and not the same average, they should take better care of their customers, and the shop should be better, it's average to old and very dark,...
