Sunny Side Up — Restaurant in Sydney

I recently visited Sunny Side Up Cafe and had a wonderful experience. The location is beautiful, offering a cozy atmosphere that’s perfect for a relaxing coffee break or catching up with friends. I ordered a coffee and an almond croissant, and both were excellent. The coffee was rich and smooth, and the croissant was perfectly flaky with just the right amount of almond filling.

The staff deserves special mention—they were incredibly polite, welcoming, and attentive, which added to the overall pleasant experience. Lovely cafe in the heart of Drummoyne on Lyons Road. Plenty of parking on the street or surrounding streets. Not metered or time restricted. Might be one for summer time, it's so cold inside that the food was cold when it got to us. Had to bring it back, but they only replaced the eggs..the rest was cold! So not enjoyable to eat. Coffee is very tasty (and hot) so we had two of them instead. There is an air conditioner on the wall, but not in use. Staff are lovely, quiet but polite but seemed under the pump which could explain the wait. Menu is very nice so will go back in...

Nice cafe with lots of cute and thriving plants. I had the beef toastie with sweet potato fries, and I also got a latte. Coffee was nice, and the toastie was very generous and delicious. I really liked the bread, and the beef was tasty and there was plenty of melted cheese. The cafe is also dog friendly, with a few tables outside. I would recommend dining here! A lot of their menu items sounded nice and unique as well, so I would be keen to come back again to try some other things...
