Sydneys Charcoal Chicken — Restaurant in Sydney

I really love some good charcoal chicken however, today my experience was average; the food was oily, service was rushed and the dining area which is awkwardly in the next shop over also smelt horrible, because of this I ate outside. Hopefully my next visit is better.

Edit: In regards to your reply - I can confirm the chicken was oily, it was dripping into the take away container. The dining area did smell & the seating that I had was just the bench on the street as there was no outdoor seating provided by your venue. I have been a customer at your Restaurant Since it was originally across the road which I can reassure you; the experience I had there with my family was much nicer. I understand your service is not ‘fine dining’ however, I have gone to McDonalds and had better service. The day I had visited was disappointing as the experience I had prior to your relocation was flawless, hence my review.

It is one of the best charcoal chicken shops in the Mount Druitt/Penrith Area. With great chicken comes great responsibility (chips). The chips are well made with no soggy chip in sight. The great serving size for the picnic option comes with Lebanese bread and garlic dip. They understand the "Go" when it comes to chicken and chips with Lebanese bread. Islanders/Arabs and Aussies are in love with the food here. They understand, with the price of everything, how to feed a family of 5* for under 40 bucks with everyone satisfied.(*Aussies and Indian families apply only) Well enjoyed food and quick serving time regardless of how many people are quing up outside the door, the response from staff and friendly nature is amazing. I ordered this on Thursday around 8pm... I called beforehand to place the order and they said will be ready in 15. I drove over after 15mins and still had to wait for another 15mins for it to be ready. Then when I finally get my food, I drove home to this rubbish food. Chicken was all soggy and barely any meat , chips were burnt. I literally wasted $40 for this. Disgusting. I tried calling back but they were not answering and I wasn't going to drive back and waste more time! Never again. This place has gone downhill...don't buy from here. They used to be good!!
