Wah Shing Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Sydney

5 stars for service, food quality and for the portions.

We called up to order food for delivery, the lady I spoke to on the phone was very nice and up front about the delivery times. She told me it would be one hour wait for our food which was fine but it came within 30mins. So, no complain there. We were happy with the nice service from the lady on the phone and also with the fast delivery, the lady that delivered it to us was very nice as well.. The delivery lady forgot a few things but was apologetic about it, she didn't take payment until she came back the 2nd time around when everything was delivered.

The food was freshly cooked as you can tell from the heat coming from all the food we ordered. I loved the fact that they bagged the honey chicken we ordered, separated from the sauce it self, great idea considering the chicken it self wasn't soggy when it arrived. Overall like I said the portion was a good size, that we even had left over for the next day, the food tasted great! and fresh.

My only regret was I wasn't quick enough to take a picture of it all, haha.

We will definitely be ordering here...

Best Chinese, Could easily say best Chinese in NSW. I've been coming here for over 10 years and never had a problem what so ever. I've tried almost every Chinese in St Mary's and Penrith area and nothing compares. Places like Happy inn care more about how their restaurant looks but their food is nothing to talk about, it's boring, tasteless and over priced also. Wah shing is by far the best Chinese I've ever had. The workers there are also very nice people especially Lisa. I'm sad I moved away from the area mainly because I don't get to go as much as I used to, but everytime I'm back to visit family I always find time to pop in and pick up a takeaway or dine in.

My go to dish is szechuan chicken, also their chicken and sweet corn soup and dim Sims are delicious. But you can't go wrong with any of their dishes, they are unique to any other...

WORST PHONE ETIQUETTE AND SERVICE. I had just gotten home from work, very tired and hungry. I decided to call and order for a delivery, and the lady who answered my call was very rude. She made me feel very dumb when after asking me what suburb? I told her what suburb I lived in, she said "yea well thats a big suburb so I need the street address you know?". She sounded as if she wasn't in the mood to take my order, she was not pleasant at all. I didn't even bother giving my address as I was so uncomfortable I just simply hung up, why should I bother when they weren't bothered for me? I used to go to Wah Shing a lot when I was younger with my parents and loved it, such a shame their receptionist was a troll, and ruined it all for long...
