Thai Chilli Bites — Restaurant in Sydney

Ordered my food online for pickup at 6:30PM. Stood outside for about 50 minutes waiting for my order after showing up at 7PM. Food delivery services (Uber Eats, Door Dash, etc) were coming and going with their food whilst people who ordered online continued to wait outside with no ETA.

I understand restaurants get busy on Saturday nights as I’ve worked in many. However, a seafood green curry, chicken rendang curry, beef pad see ew and salt and pepper squid does not take over 1 hour and 30 minutes to cook. There is another review which is pretty much like mine, seems like the owners aren’t keen on listening to their customer reviews.

Now, lets talk about the food. You pay an extra $6 for seafood in the curry and only get 2 mussels and 2 prawns. The food was meh.

The food was absolutely delicious—the Green Curry was the best I've ever had, rich and full of authentic flavors. The Seafood Hot Plate was excellent, sizzling with freshness and the perfect balance of spices. This restaurant has lost a longtime local customer. Ordered food at 6.30pm for a 7pm pickup. Did not receive food until 7.40pm. Was told on several occasions it would be just a few more minutes. Was not told it was busy when I placed my order and that 7pm was not possible, but that was the excuse when I finally got my food. This was not the first time this has been my experience for evening pickups. Pro tip to the owner:. Stop prioritising uber orders and walk-ins over a customer who placed thier order well before the time they wanted to pick it up. You can't treat customers with such contempt and expect them to keep supporting...
