Thai Hutt Bass Hill — Restaurant in Sydney

I am extremely shocked at the terrible service this place has. Where do i start! The lady at the front didn’t greet us and didn’t even hand us any menus. I ordered entrees and mains. All our mains all came before our entree and we had to wait another 5 minutes for the entrees to come out. First time i see mains being served before entrees. When i addressed this matter to the lady she started to get extremely rude and was raising her voice at us (myself and 3 young girls who got so scared from the way she was talking and they wanted to leave) The lady kept arguing and being rude and I kept saying to her are finished we want to eat and she just kept going off!!! She continued to complain that she has no time to serve the entree before the main as she is so busy and on her own. (mind you we were the only customers in the whole shop and from when we walked in till we finished there was no one. Then A chef from the back had to come and remove her as she was not stopping. I am so disgusted and i hope this place closes down because no one deserves to be treated like this!!! Especially since i had 3 young girls with me who...

We have been more and more disappointed lately when coming here. The quality of the food; the portion controls and the portion of the protein for some reason keeps on reducing. It is a shame given that we live close by and would be convenient however we will not be going there anymore. I won't give my review based on previous experiences given that we had bad experiences, but we thought we give it the benefit of the doubt tonight and writing the review as we sit here.

We ordered massaman carry dish at a Thai restaurant and they had run out. Go figure how!

Secondly we ordered the chicken lemongrass dish. Even a rookie would know better. The dish had the tough outer skin of the lemon grass that is meant to be removed before you cook the dish and we almost chocked on numerous occasions and we kept on having to spit it out. (Photo attached). Also, they gave us the lemongrass dish in a flat plate with the sauce swimming and made it so difficult to eat because sauce kept on going all over the table. This is 4th time I have given this restraunt another chance each time disappointing then the next.

Today topped it off , I walked in there was 0 customers even though all other shops in Bass hill were busy. The lady looked at from the counter like I was from another universe & said are you here for pickup, Instead of saying Hello, How can I help you.

I then ordered a Chilli Basil Stir fry - With Beef & Chicken.

I quickly went to my car then came back in 2mins and she said sorry we dont have beef we only have Lamb, I said no thanks I dont want lamb just make it with double chicken.

When my order was ready she handed me the food and said the chef already made it with Lamb so here you go. Herself & the chef seem to be picking what food I want to eat... Wow these should just shut the shop its waste of space give it to another restraunt that knows...
