This place use to be my favourite pho place been going here 10years+ with my family. Haven't been here in a while and when we usually come, the pho usually hit the spot....BUT I was pretty disappointed with my size small pho dac biet today! Gave me literally the last part of the pho noodles all broken up as well! I can scoop twice with the table spoon and that's all the pho noodles!! I get its a size small but this?!?? Nah nah. This ain't it. I mean it's understanding that it's boxing day and there's heaps of customers around this time of the year. But this..? So of course, had to order an extra bowl of just pho noodles to add into my bowl, told the waiter about how they didn't really gave me enough noodles that's why I'm ordering more. He didn't really care about how the explanation of how the pho didn't have "enough" pho noodles (?!?). Anyways, after the extra pho noodles which should've already been there.. I kinda lowkey expected it to be free but then also had the feeling they'd probably charge me for the "extra" lmao. And yep, you guessed it, they charged an extra $3 for a lil bowl. Bruh. Small bowl is $15 and medium bowl for $17 (an extra $2) MIGHT AS well order the medium bowl right??? This was extra $3 for pho noodles... Overall, this is first time experiencing this; ridiculously providing less pho noodles and getting charged for adding extra pho noodles. Worse part is, it didn't happen to my bowl but it also happened to my mums bowl too! Soooooo pls do better Thanh Long. And it's still cash only. I even attached some images: like it looks like Im about to finish eating my bowl of pho but NOOO IT'S just the beginning of mixing it all. The other contents in the bowl is meat and bean sprouts and that one big scoop of basically all the pho noodles.. *sigh*.

This place used to be one of my favourite pho places in Sydney. However, my visit yesterday was the first time in a while and was a bit disappointing. First off they had a new menu with new prices which was understandable becauses of inflation. However, the porition sizes seems to also have shrunk. We got a special pho (medium) and a special vermicelli. The special pho had less pho than what i remember and only had 1 piece of beef ball (not even a full ball, one piece that was like a quarter of a ball). The special vermicelli looks like it only came with 1 spring roll as well when I think they used to come with 2. I could be wrong about this, however, other places I've ordered this dish from do come with two pieces of spring rolls. Service has also gone down a bit. I remember coming more often a few years ago and the workers were more proactive. There was one guy specifically, I remember was always eager to serve customers when they came in and would do his best to have satisfied customers. I'm not sure if owners or management changed but I wouldn't be surprised. Probably wouldn't come back here again if I wasn't local but there are also many other local restaurants.

I entered the restaurant at about 6pm and there weren’t many customers inside. Is that why they suddenly turned off some of the lights which made it a tad bit dark (you can clearly see the lighting from the photos). I noticed that there was menu placed at the entrance and cashier ends of the place as I walked in. And then as I was suggested to be seated at one of the table, the waiter didn’t even give us the menu but just handed two cups for hot tea. I was quite confused as it didn’t happen before when I dined in here last year. When the waiter brought out our dishes, they didn’t even say anything but just put the bowl on the table without asking who’s they’re for. We ended up ordering small combination pho and a vermicelli noodles salad with grilled pork and spring rolls. The pho was indeed quite small compared to price ($13.5) and there weren’t many slices of beef and other toppings like other places. The pho broth was on the sweeter side and I didn’t like it as much. The vermicelli bowl was alright, good portion and toppings but lots of noodles instead of salad and vegetables. No cards payments available. Wouldn’t come back here again. Sorry!
