There’s quite a few Burek places spread out across Sydney so why go to the Burek brothers over any other ?

Well, if you want to taste the most authentic, traditional tasting Burek that stays true to the way it is made in Macedonia, while adding their own style and flavours, then this is the place. Every other place I’ve tried in Australia had just never cut it, they always taste dry, and the ingredients and flavourings just seem kinda average for what it’s meant to be. The quality, taste and consistency at burek brothers is always on point, the same every time. Every time I have it Im reminded of being overseas on a summer holiday having a burek by the lake.

They have a selection of traditional flavours that are always ready to go, and if you are happy to wait around 20 mins they also have a selection of gourmet flavours they can make on demand for you.

What separates this place from the rest is - these boys know how to make a Traditional Macedonian Burek - AND - unlike the others, certainly not shy of fully loading their bureks with loads of ‘filling & flavor’ – spread between thin light pastry layers & cooked to perfection. Just like my mum used to make it :)-

No matter the filling – from the cheese & meat to the sweet pumpkin - each one is appetizing - absolutely delightful 'hot or cold'. All the fillings are tasty – especially the ‘sweet pumpkin, it's so scrumptious. We loved it - it was a big hit with our kids.

If you’re after a Traditional Macedonian wholesome homemade tasting Burek – that's light and filled with luscious fillings and flavors.... Highly recommend visiting the Burek Bros.

I can’t stop thinking about that cheese burek, flaky, buttery, and perfectly crisp on the outside, with a rich, savoury most flavourful fillings that melt in your mouth. I topped mine with ajvar and a sprinkle of chilli flakes and let me tell you... pure magic. The combo hits with perfect balance. Each bite was a little piece of heaven!
