This is by far one of the best hidden restaurants I’ve been to for brunch! They really surprised me with the quality and quantity of their food. Affordable prices. The staff were friendly and they welcome dogs! I love the Pulled Pork Mini Burgers with Sweet Potato chips! It was so fresh and the flavours complimented each other. They have an indoor and outdoor setting which reminds me of a very chic home. It’s definitely very welcoming and just an all round really good place to have breakfast and lunch, or even a milkshake or a coffee. I’m not sure if they’re open for dinner though.

This is the second time at this cafe for our Tai Chi end of term lunch. Up the road away from the busyness of the Pennant Hills shops, this cafe building is in a converted house, just a minute walk across from Thornleigh railway station. Serving good sized portions of tasty food from menu selection. The outdoor area caters for bigger sized groups and feels like you're sitting in someone's home garden. They were kind enough to organise our split bills giving each one a docket of their order making payment a breeze.

The food is so delicious and wonderfully presented. We ordered the eggs benny with mushrooms and hashbrown on the side, blueberry pancakes and an iced strawberry matcha drink. Everything was so well balanced in flavour and satisfying. If you sit outside they provide a heater and some blankets to keep you warm so don't let the cold deter you this winter! Great for group settings too! A hidden gem that the locals absolutely love. I will be coming back with my friends and family for any opportunity I can get. šŸ˜„

I think they recently changed management and it has not been a change for the better.

This used to be a cruisey quiet place with good food and reasonable service.

I took my 87-year mother here to treat her to a hot meal after 4 days without electricity. Instead, she was treated unkindly by a staff member with the abrupt & curt charmlessness of a camp guard. Mum was told to ā€œget out of the wayā€ as she stood at the counter, looking at the menu while I parked the car. There was no offer to seat her and take her a menu. Unsurprisingly, this establishment does not provide table service. Hospitality fail.

Mum was then served her tea in a chipped cup which I had to return. Food safety fail.

A cat was roaming inside the cafe until I asked for it to be moved out for hygiene reasons. A dog with an entitled-looking owner sat AT THE TABLE, on the bench next to her, inside the cafe and the staff didn’t say a thing. I’m all for companion and assistance animals in cafes but I they should be required to sit ON THE GROUND in the outdoor area. I suspect the food safety inspectors would agree with me.

The food and beverage was okay but the table was sticky and badly in need of a wipe.

Gordon Ramsay would have been ropable.

We are not going back.

I received friendlier and more courteous service (and better coffee) the previous day at Coles Express in...

2023 - Thought I'll give this place another attempt.... Waited 20 min for takeaway and to be told they need another 10 min...got my money refunded upon request. Wait time for food is too long. Would not recommend.

Prev comment: I've been here quite a few times in the past but recent experience had not been great

The food is pretty much hit and miss so the price is a bit hard to justify. Had their chili scrambled egg... unfortunately the taste is below average (the egg is broken up so badly) I can make it better at home.

I've also tried their ice chocolate weeks ago and it was so bad that I have to fix it at home. It tasted like the chocolate milk I can get from Woolies! Super sweet and artificial chocolate taste. I'm not sure if that barista still works there but wouldn't buy it if she still works there.

Coffee wise.... I've ordered a piccolo 2 weeks ago and was given a "large" size (basically turned into a latte). Such a shame that this cafe had dropped its...

Was looking for a good coffee and lunch option, so tried this place out, but wasn't impressed.

Unsure of exactly what to get, I decided to try their special, which was a bulgogi on sourdough toast with poached eggs. Sounded delicious.

Sadly, while the sweet balance of the beef was nice, the "toast" was more like soggy bread, having almost zero crunch. The eggs were also unseasoned making for a vinegary, semi sweet soggy mess.

If the toast was crisp, the egg goey and seasoned, and an banchan like sweet/sour/spicy acid was added via a korean pickle, this dish could have been amazing. Maybe I was just unlucky?

The coffee was ok.... but $4.50 for a quite average small flat white seems to be priced a little higher than it should have been. Guess it's hard for me to compare as I would normally stick to filter coffee or a single origin espresso, neither which were options.

All up, wasn't a...
