TLDR at the end. I went here for breakfast. First off, the staff are very friendly and it's so nice to see all the dogs around the place. Between my friends and I, we had coffee and the big breakfast / Japanese breakfast. The coffee was nice, better than the average from this area I'd say.
The big breakfast had bacon, egg, toast (sourdough or wholemeal), mushrooms, tomato, sausage, and potato gems. I loved it, but I think it could improve if it would have slightly less mushrooms and slightly more potato gems / tomato.
The Japanese breakfast had miso soup, cooked salmon (salmon steak style), dried beans/peas (can't remember it's name), onigiri. I was jealous of this breakfast that my friend had but I did try it. The onigiri was amazing and the salmon nicely cooked. I will be ordering this next time I visit.
TLDR: Good food, good coffee,...
Read moreUnderwhelming. The waitress was awful, zero eye contact, zero care. I saw her carry half of our order around the whole place, and then she also served my meal at another table. When she finally worked it out, she just picked up the plate from infront of the other people and went to give it to me. I asked her if those other people had touched it? She huffed and went back inside to ask the other customers, then returned, said they didn't touch it and dropped it on the table in front of me.
Chicken in the Karaage burger was cold. Japanese Breakfast for $29 was very underwhelming, salmon cold and overcooked, and found a bone. The only the positive is that the flavours were good. Definitely lost my appetite for this place. Would...
Read moreBloody outrageous! We arranged to meet at the Pawfect Cafe this morning. Six adults, two children and one hound. We had only an hour together before one group had to go to the airport, another to check out of their hotel. We arrived at the café at 8:30 am (website states that the café opens at 8:00 am). A small sign on the door announces that the café is closed for most of July. Really!!! They couldn't be bothered to put a note on their website, or FB, or Insta, or a phone message,? Does customer service mean anything at all to them? Unfortunately, one star is the minimum option. I would give them minus five for stuffing us around....
