Mr Roses — Local services in Sydney

Ordered flowers and chocolate for my girlfriend for Valentine's Day to be delievered to her place of work. I ordered these a few days in advance. We were promised same day delivery but to our dismay the flowers didn't arrive. Mr Roses outsources their delivery to a courier who of course don't care if you get your items on time. The next day the courier reattempted the delivery at her place of work, before business hours. A simple google search will tell you the hours of business were from 9am-5pm, but the delivery attempt was at 8am! Finally the roses arrived after midday, wilted and smelly. And the heart shaped chocolate we ordered had melted. When we contacted Mr Roses, they apologised and said they would make the situation right. We waited almost a month and heard nothing. So I reached out again and asked for a refund. At first they said they would give us free delivery on our next order. Which is a slap in the face as after this experience we would never order from Mr Roses again. When I expressed my discontent with the situation they offered store credit for half of the orders value. Which once again is appalling, considering the product we recieved was effectively useless as the flowers were in disgusting condition and the chocolate was not edible! It wasn't even a partial refund, but store credit! Safe to say we won't be shopping from Mr Roses again. If you're looking to buy some flowers for someone close to you or for an occasion, literally use any other flower delivery company because the chances of the delivery arriving on the day of your choice are slim. And it's not just me, I have heard of multiple complaints from people who also did not receive what they ordered on the day it was supposed to arrive. If you can't deliver on Valentine's Day due to a high volume of deliveries, then don't make promises...

OPPS I DID IT AGAIN! Another spontaneous purchase. And thank you to Mr. Roses and team for once again providing the goods and delivering with care.

I decided to gift a dear friend on our 10 years of friendship! I went with the Sunflowers and Yellow Roses arrangement. For same day delivery. I ordered at about 8am and they were delivered around 2:30pm and to leave at door request if no one was home.

My friend was absolutely blown away with the surprise and was giddy with excitement about the flowers that were in the infamous signature box.

It was a perfect addition to the celebration and when she sent me a snap of them, personally, I was again just in awe of the presentation.

My first ‘spontaneous’ purchase from Mr. Roses were the White Lillies and Red Roses arrangement (I bought in June 2024) and similar to the Lillie’s, this other friend is looking forward to the sunflowers opening up and blooming. See, a gift that keeps on giving. I LOVE IT!!

I highly recommend Mr. Roses to be considered for your next flower delivery.

Their service is great. Their website is easy to navigate. Their flower range is unique. Their delivery is prompt and they try to ensure that the freshest flowers (depending on season) is delivered.

Pricing is reasonable but you can get little discount codes if you sign up to be a member.

And if you have any concerns about what was delivered, I believe you just ring their customer support number and they’ll rectify it immediately, if not in due time. (From what I can see by other reviews)

I ordered roses to my partner for our anniversary yesterday and they haven't been delivered until today 9:30AM. The delivery guy called my partner at 6:45PM yesterday that he was on his way, when my partner already left work. By the way, I specifically mentioned that it's a business address. Even though the courier company sent me an email that they will deliver at 7:50AM, they haven't delivered until 9:30AM today. The roses were stored in the van over night, and of course this morning they're already started to fade. Considering the money you pay for flowers, you expect great service. However, the service was absolutely terrible and delivery is completely unacceptable. It's ruined the special occasion and the meaning of the gesture. Me and especially my partner aren't satisfied with the service. Definitely not gonna order ever again from this company.

UPDATED! I recently lodged a complaint regarding the delayed delivery of flowers order to my partner for our anniversary. I am writing to acknowledge and appreciate the prompt response and the efforts they made to rectify the situation. James (the owner) reached out to my partner to apologise personally for the late delivery and kindly sent a complimentary gift (screenshot attached) as a gesture of goodwill. Me and my partner want to express our gratitude for the professional handling of my complaint and for the thoughtful gesture. While the initial delay was disappointing, the manner in which James and his team addressed my concerns has reinstated my confidence in the company and I would order flowers from them again...
