We visited for a quick Sunday lunch with the family and was seriously impressed. Small selection of pizzas and a couple of salads on offer which I think is perfect. We tried the queen, verdura and native pizzas. The queen is a classic Margherita, but the other two were a little different than what you would usually see. Verdura pizza was topped with delicious mushrooms and a slightly bitter greens drizzle. Native pizza was a little sweet and with just a hint of spice. Pizza bases were soft, chewy crust and super thin centre, classic Napoletana style. All cooked in a well stoked wood fire oven. Also tried the fennel and orange salad which was a good size and fresh and tasty. Service was quick and friendly. My only criticism is that they only use disposable paper plates and wooden cutlery and pizzas come in boxes even if eating in. Think we might've made a mistake starting with Tipo00 Balmain because their pizza just set the bar impossibly high. Ordered The Queen and the Salamino and everything was just so well made. The red sauce had a great sweetness but maintained the tomato's acidity, there was a perfect ratio of cheese to crust, the salami was amazing and I believe is from another of my favourite joints - LP meats, but the standout was by far the pizza crust itself.
