With lots of activities to indulge in, it is little wonder why this park is a favourite for families. Choose between active or passive activities and enjoy a fun day in the outdoors. Whether you would like to enjoy a relaxed family picnic or would love to indulge in a game of basketball, this park has it all for you.
There is also a playground at the park, with the shaded play area having soft play structures to ensure that the kids have a safe place to play. Gladstone Park also has a basketball court on site for older kids and adults. There's a half size tennis court
During your visit, head on over to the Gladstone Park Bowling Club. This is a favourite for visitors in larger groups who wish to compete in a game of lawn bowls. Make sure you visit the established gardens on site at the park as well.
Other amenities at the park include picnic tables and toilets – located right outside the park. Dogs are allowed here, and the park is open to visitors of all ages. While there is no cafe on location, there are plenty of places to eat near the park.
Parking is available on Booth Street, and the park is easily accessible using public means. The playground was to busy for me to take photos even though it was Saturday
It is important to note that Gladstone Park Balmain is generally busy during lunch hour as kids from the nearby Balmain Primary School use the park’s ground as...

It's gonna be...
