Order $100 worth of sushi and had only 2 of our kids eat. The 20piece sashimi combo was actually 4 pieces cut 5 times each. It was embarrassingly small. The chicken katsu was honestly revolting, I opened the lid and nearly vomited it was as if the food was in the trash and they put it in a bowl. It wasnt neatly presented as it normally should be so I expect that it was from the trash. The portions was extremely small but as you probably can see from other reviews this is a common trend. I called the restaurant first to give them a chance to amend this catastrophe but they advised as I quote "No portions are large size and food made right by my nephew" I replyed "sorry this is actually a joke I'm happy to come down to the restaurant and show you the quality that it was delivered" then for the manager to reply with nothing but swears and insults which lend to me simply hanging up. seems he gets these calls often.

Long story short for those looking for the conclusion, got a partial refund by door dash and would never order from them again, you would think with how many sushi places are around these days they would want to try and be competitive rather than mother F*ers as our friend at toyko...

Tokyo Table is a dope Japanese restaurant that's definitely worth checking out. As a big fan of Japanese Ramen, I personally drive 25 minutes just to dine there.

The taste of the noodles and broth at Tokyo Table is on a whole different level - the homemade Cha Shiu brings an extra burst of flavor, and the texture of the it is simply out of this world. It simply beats the chain ramen joints I used to go to. And don't forget to try the mini avocado sushi rolls - they're a hit with the little ones!

The atmosphere at Tokyo Table is totally chill and super cozy - it's the perfect spot for a small family gathering. You can kick back on their comfy sofas and feel right at home. And the service is seriously on point - the owner even hooked us up with a free mocha ice cream after our meal. It was the perfect way to cap off an awesome experience.

Tokyo Table is hands down one of my favorite places to dine - it's definitely worth the 25-minute drive. The overall dining experience is top-notch, and the amazing Japanese flavors will not disappoint. If you're in the mood for some seriously good Japanese food, this is the...

The food was absolutely amazing! So far tastes the closest to authentic Japanese food in Sydney. I ordered the wagyu beef don but I feel like that would have been better as a topping on the Okonomiyaki! The taiyaki waffle dessert was a bit too oily though and was a little underwhelming.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice but I wish there was room for more customers as it got a bit annoying when people were standing right beside us and walking back and forth behind us in the restaurant while they waiting for a table and we were eating; some of them even sat down at an empty, smaller table without intending to order which just takes up space for other potential customers. I feel like this could have been avoided with better customer service, I.e. having customers queue up outside rather than inside, offering chairs for waiting guests, ushering customers inside, faster response time to when we raise our hand for food orders, and clearing empty plates from tables faster.

Overall though very nice and underrated restaurant...

My first time. The darker broth bowl is the Ramen, and was quite salty. Perhaps the combination was at fault, one of my own. Noodles were underdone, at least comparatively to what I normally consume. The topping was rather lacklustre, not complementing or providing contrast. I'll chalk it up to having a salty broth and a salty topping, although I might say, the broth was more of a factor. The Udon was absolutely super. It was nice and refreshing, with a clean, tasty broth, as well as nicely cooked noodles. I didn't have any of the chicken katsu cutlet, but it looked nice. Overall rating? I'd go again since the atmosphere is nice, and service is reevaluated as above ordinary. Udon appears to be a safe, enjoyable option. I'd ask for recommendations regarding Ramen and Topping combinations. Design is rustic, and minimalistic. A nice visit. Thank you for having me!
