Nice little neighbourhood cafe in Canterbury! 🏡 As a super picky eater (crowned Chief Food Officer - slash - walking Broadsheet in my circle), I'm satisfied with the quality of the coffee and food!! 🌮🥙🍳 It's a local gem 💎
☕️ It's not easy to find 10/10 coffee in Sydney but the cappuccino I got was strong enough and it definitely left a good impression. Usually I walk away from a lot of Sydney cafes thinking the coffee was too weak. Not here. 👍🏻
⭐️ My favourite dish is the Hot Potato w/ Poached Eggs - am not kidding when I say I thought about it for a week after I had it - it looks normal when served (like normal benedict eggs), but it was SO good!!! The sweet potato fritters were really really yummy.
The second winner was the super salad + salmon (not pictured). The salmon was nicely pan fried & crispy and didn't have a fishy smell like some places make it! There were also kale, chickpeas, spinach + more in the salad. A really healthy mix 🥗
The chilli scramble had A LOT of eggs (apparently they use organic eggs straight from the farm 🥚); the bacon was not as crispy as I'd like it, but I didn't bother asking them to refry, but I'm sure they wouldn't have minded as staff are pretty attentive and willing to hear their customer out.
All portions are big ⭐️ and my friend and I were really full afterwards. 😮💨
Definitely a good cafe to go to if you're around the Canterbury area. +++ Worth the trip if you're going there for the delicious Hot Potatoes!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My wife and I tried this place cos it was close to home, and let me tell you one thing - the Big Breakfast that Joe be slammin onto a plate is not that small-fry hipster serving of a muffin, a bit of egg and tomato with some sad defeated garnish slumped over like a defeated warrior. No son. This big breakfast will rearrange your face and leave you crying over the time of your life wasted at some place shellin out gruel for $25. Now straight up (sorry for the delay with the review Mara!), the service is straight aces. You come in, you feel like you've been here your whole life, they give you the menu and smile like they know your life about to be re-evaluated the moment their delicious food and epic coffee touches your mouth. My wife and I dig the big breakfast but hold on soldier, lemme fix you up real quick with how the omelette redefined the meaning of life, no joke. That thing could feed a family. The sauce, they call it some kind of pesto I call it some straight soul-snatching voodoo magic, get out if you think you ain't gonna try and cram every last mouthful of that savagely piled up, taste-crammed blend of 'you will eat' and 'I just saw heaven' in one.
