This shop has only been open for one and a half months. It is brand new for Canterbury/Campsie, although it’s already trading in other suburbs. Knowing that they have come into our community, I would have thought they’d be respectful, welcoming and nice, especially as we made an effort to be welcoming and friendly. Having been locals for many years. No. It was the exact opposite. We came in twice and both times the woman treated us like she didn’t want to serve us. Telling us what we couldn’t buy, and begrudgingly helping us with what we could buy. She was rude and not friendly. It was clear she had decided we weren’t the kind of customers she wants. If you are not ready for the diversity of respectful and lovely people that live in Canterbury and Campsie, you should not open a business here. Or put a big sign on the door outlining your bigotry, and the kind of people you refuse to serve respectfully, so we know not to make the effort to come in. Big thumbs down from us, which is a shame, as we, and many people like us, live around the corner, and would have loved to...

The walnut mamoul was beyond dry in the middle, it was inedible. The whole tray went into the trash. This was the first and last time I purchase mamoul from here. The baklava tray was mixed with stale and fresh sweets. Very disappointing. This place when it first opened was really good. Now it is supbar.
Honestly don’t know what the bottom commenters are talking about. I went there on the first or second day that they opened and their customer service was so refreshing! The lady behind the counter, gave my friend and I a piece of baklava to try and then took our order. She was lovely.
The sweets were good! I would be back! In fact I’m craving their sweets right now! 😂 So glad they opened in Canterbury, now I don’t have to travel...

I had a coffee, which was served extremely hot (burnt my tongue), tasted strong, but tasty once cooled. We don't have anything this strong in the immediate area, so it's nice to have some variety.
They had some freebie desserts on the counter, which were nice. No complaints from me on this front.
The only feedback I have are; I thought the music was a touch too loud, it made striking & holding a conversation hard and the 2 staff which were there didn't go out of their way to make me feel super welcome. I felt I drove the conversation, and I wanted them to lead it by saying, "hey, this is us, this is what we do, this is when we are open, please come back and see us soon, we loved to see you" etc etc. But it's still early days, so all things that can...
