This place deserves 5 stars, or more.
Cleanliness: VERY VERY clean. In fact I have rarely seen any restaurant this clean. The bathrooms are at the back so I walked through the kitchen to get there. The kitchens are immaculate. The bathrooms are the cleanest I have EVER seen. Well done!!
The menus are clean. THANK YOU. So may restaurants have grubby filthy menus. But this place: new and clean. Love it.
Table and floors are spotless. All the cutlery and chopsticks on each table are like new.
Frankly, I have never seen anything like it.
Food: Excellent and well priced. Everything you expect and more.
Service: yep. 5 stars. Well done. The only leg work I did was for paying the bill. Table service for menus, orders, food delivery. IT CAN BE DONE! Loved it. The crew here have ESL (English as a Second Language) and try hard. Well done. I appreciate your efforts even though it may be difficult for some to understand.
Comfort: very comfortable. Nice temperature. Comfy seats. Just right.
Overall: This place impressed me. It was refreshing to experience an almost perfect lunch experience. It’s not fine dining, however packs a punch above its weight and I hope it gets the attention it deserves.
I HIGHLY...
Read moreFound this place on Google when I was searching for Vietnamese places to try in the area. The first thing I noticed was the cleanliness. There was not a single sticky table or speck of dust anywhere. The menus were in immaculate condition. This is quite rare for a lot of casual Asian restaurants.
We ordered prawn rice paper rolls, pho, shaking beef rice and combination vermicelli. It was all nice except the shaking beef - we definitely had better as the beef was quite dry and bland.
The guy serving us was really nice :)
Being in Canterbury, they don’t have any real competition in the area so prices are on the steeper side - we paid $72 for 4 items.
As it is on Canterbury Rd, parking is very limited. We had to park at the Woolies around the corner.
Would return and recommend others...
Read moreLike all things prices have gone up but wages haven't climbed up much now we are paying $17 for some noodle soup which I didn't order and not long ago were once $13. I do believe my gas bill hasn't been given yet and I'm waiting to see what it's going to be, and beef has gone up a lot. I guess you can't blame the restaurant they have to put prices up. The food here wasn't too costly overall, generous servings, chicken curry, cubed peppered beef, all pretty good. Atmosphere is about the standard noodle shop look, what else do you really need anyhow they were pretty cool. I've got to give it a 4 because there's room for improvement. A 3 is too low so that's where It sits with me,...
