Since the first day this place opened up.. I had watched their steady customer numbers grow... Each time I would pass, I noticed they have a line of customers waiting in line.. Usually people tell others of a really good food outlet in town.. through word of mouth.. In particular when they're open late at night & you get hunger cravings for a kebab.. That's how I tried it..

The speciality of these kebabs is that they use the really thin iraqi/persian bread (or whatever Middle Eastern bread you want like, leb bread, iraqi bread rolls) & add what you want to it, like the grilled kebab meat, add cheese, pickles, the usual salad, garlic sauce even hot chips in the roll & then grill Press the sandwich roll.. which is how it's traditionally done. The crispiness of the grilled bread roll with crispy kebab meat, melted cheese mixed with garlic sauce & pickles all combined is something out of this world.. Not many other kebab joints can get it right.. So we'll done! They only loose a point for the amount of oil left behind pooled at the bottom sandwich wrap.. Which may spill on your clothes if not wrapped adequately, or you are not aware, so heads up! you may need heaps of napkins when you eat this.. But that's half the fun of eating this kebab. :)

They have vegetarian options like falafel gourmet grilled rolls which are just as good & tasty with added Tahini, garlic, hot chips, pickles, roasted egg plant, cauliflower & salad etc.. The hot chips here is also great not too oily with perfect amount of chicken salt with any choice of sauce drizzled on top, my recommendation is a dalop of lebanese garlic paste with light chilli & mayo or BBQ sauce.

The outdoor covered section of the store is great with a comfortable feel, with awesome music in the background. It definitely makes the area feel alive at night.. Convenient, especially if you want to sit to grab a quick bite before catching a bus or train located on the opposite side...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 - Best Shawarma & Top-Notch Service!

This place doesn’t just serve the best shawarma — it delivers an entire experience. The meat is unbelievably tender and flavorful, perfectly spiced, and freshly sliced off the spit. Whether you go for chicken, beef, or lamb, every bite hits the spot. The wraps are loaded generously with juicy meat, crisp pickles, and that incredible garlic sauce that’s creamy and bold without overpowering.

But what really sets this place apart is the service. The staff are genuinely warm and welcoming, always smiling, and ready to go the extra mile to make sure you’re happy. The food comes out fast, hot, and exactly how you ordered it — even when the place is busy. You can tell they take real pride in what they do.

Clean, friendly, and full of flavor — it’s my go-to spot every time I crave shawarma. Highly recommend the chicken shawarma plate with extra garlic and a side of fries. You’ll leave full, happy, and already planning...

Very disappointed to visit with family for the very first time. Staff was quite rough and arrogant. Ordered Arabic Chicken Shawarma plater & a Lamb Shawarma plater and specifically requested not to put pickles in Chicken Shawarma as young kids don't like them but they put pickles in Chicken Shawarma anyways. When I notify them, instead of replacing the order to rectify their mistake, they arrogantly mumbled and took all the pickles out from the same Shawarma and gave it back without any apology. Had a horrible experience visiting there. Definitely will not return or recommend them to other friends and family. Owner to reflect on staff training and overall...

Today was our first time trying and this is one of the best shawarmas we have ever had. The wrap was paper thin, stretchy and toasted to a nice crisp. Amazing, absolutely delicious. It soaked up all the wonderful meat juices, the onions was shredded thinly and mixed with herbs, the garlic sauce was aromatic and creamy and complimented the beef very well, the meat tasted as real meat should, not like a heap of processed doner, and the result was a shawarma that we will crave and would be back again for. Furthermore, service was welcoming and friendly, the workers take their jobs seriously and put pride into making every wrap. Al Madena thankyou for the great food experience!

Located directly opposite Fairfield station (bus side), I decided to make a pit stop as I have been meaning to try this place out. Got the beef shawarma combo. Taste and texture of beef was very tender and fresh. Flavour of shawarma as a whole was great, however, as I forget to ask for bbq and chilli sauce it was pretty much just the taste of garlic and beef (my own fault). Chips were nice also, however could have benefited from a smidgen more salt. Beef shawarma combo only $18, definitely great value for money considering it was a full sized shawarma, large chips and a can. Customer service was very welcoming and efficient. Food came out relatively quick.
