Two Peck Crispy Chicken Eastwood — Restaurant in Sydney

Finished gym late at night and was craving chicken. Any chicken… There was a small line in the shop so figured I’d give them a try after so many years of just walking straight past.

Ordered the crispy chicken cutlet, and six golden chicken wings. Took about 25 minutes to cook and although they weren’t bad, they also weren’t anything special.

The cutlet is one big flattened piece deep fried with batter and flavoring. Naturally it’s dripping in oil as expected, but the taste was average.

The wings are so heavily battered I had no idea what I was eating but mouth fulls of oil. Either way didn’t want to give lower food score as some people may like it.

Mainly gave them a lower score as they display an odd rule where they will not cut up the chicken for customers.

I’ve always believed the food industry should be customer centric and as someone who didn’t even want their chicken cut up, just reading they didn’t allow it, makes me think what the owners values are. Especially when the cutlet is quite large and not exactly easy to enjoy.

Wouldn’t really visit again as it’s not for me and there’s so many other fried chicken and alternative cuisines in the nearby area...

I purchased a Chrispy chicken nuggets Benton box and noticed a moving maget 🪱 in my meal. I phoned the shop to inform them and they said they are sorry and wrote my details in a book and offered a free replacement meal next time I come in. When I came back, they were rude and pretended nothing had happened and where denial they didn't even write my contact details and there was no book they were so rude, I didn't want to post the photo originally, but now and after reading other reviews, people are getting diarrhoea, and how rude the manager owner was to me I had to post this hopefully they will start treating their loyal customers better and stop being rude to them. Response Management, you were very rude to me when I arrived at your store, so stop pretending that you care and read your other reviews. I spoke to you. You didn't care...

Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. The fried chicken looked good at first, but it was dry and overcooked inside, with a heavy, greasy taste that made it hard to finish. The oil seemed old, and everything just felt too oily instead of crispy and flavorful. To make things worse, part of my order was missing, and when I pointed it out, the staff didn’t seem to care — their attitude was quite dismissive. The restaurant itself didn’t feel clean either; the floor was sticky, and the air smelled strongly of fried oil. Considering the price, the quality just isn’t worth it. I left feeling disappointed and a bit nauseous. Definitely not...
