Located at South Village Shopping Centre, 580 Princes Highway, Kirrawee, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺 I am not a big Japanese 🇯🇵 eater but I wanted something different so myself and my friend decided to come here for dinner tonight. The restaurant is very tastefully decorated making it very welcoming. We had the pork gyoza 🥟, tempura prawns to share and I had the spicy chicken stir fry as main. It was lovely but I think I am just used to other types of Asian style food ie Thai. Saying that, the food was presented beautifully and tasted delicious. The server was very friendly and welcoming, willing to help us in any way. There’s ample parking 🅿️ underneath the shopping centre and it’s a short walk from Kirrawee railway station 🚉. There’s toilets very close to the restaurant. I was disappointed to learn that the restaurant doesn’t allow split billing. This is frustrating when you are there with friends as I was and we are attempting to pay for our own meals. This shouldn’t be hard to allow, especially if the restaurant is not busy as it was when we attended. This lost a star ⭐️ from me. Otherwise, it was a pleasant experience. Thumbs up!! 👍👍

I am resident of village place. So usually i like all the restaurants and service in this community. However, they might don’t think like that. Terrible service! I was ordered the spicy Tonkotsu Ramen meals, but they didn’t gave me salad and miso soup(i asked for twice, wait for 5mins then they gave it to me), it’s tastes like hot water with noodles. No spicy, no taste and no tonkotsu flavor. I was complained to the waitress, she didn’t explained that to me, but eventually she gave me another ramen—for 26mins! And its tastes even greasier. On the noodle soup, there was a thick layer of oil floating on it. So hungry, barely finished it. Also for drink, she gave me the wrong one, i was spend 15mins to wait her gave me the right one. I mean dude, you definitely can’t up to this job. And next time please don’t yelling to the delivery guys or anybody. Not gonna come here again, if you want some real Japanese food? Go to somewhere else, don’t waste your money and time for those horrible restaurants. Ps: the girl who worked at counter has bad attitude for asian people.

May 2022 - Tried the wagyu ramen and it wasn't good. This is meant to be a chef recommended dish and the noodles were again overcooked making it way too soft. The supposed mb7 wagyu was overcooked, tough and clumped together (check photos). Also our order of 1 serve salmon nigiri and 1 wagyu ramen took over 30mins to serve. Sorry but I cannot recommend coming here and personally won't be coming back here again after this experience. We finally got the chance to eat here after being turned around multiple times because we came too close to closing time. We got the assorted nigiri which was good but on the pricey side for standard nigiris options. The nigimiso ramen was different. Flavoursome and generous with the roast pork and spring onions but they overcooked the noodles. Chicken katsu curry rice was ok, nothing stood out in this dish. Overall it was an ok experience.

My husband and I were quite excited to have found this newly opened Japanese restaurant that is conveniently located in the South Village. However, our first dining experience with them was disappointing. We have nothing to complain about the food, I mean they weren’t outstanding but was what we expected from a casual local eat out. Service on the other hand, was pretty shocking. Upon on arriving at the restaurant, the front counter staff asked if we had a booking. We told her no and got given this “ok, I don’t where I am able to fit you then” look when there were more than 10 vacant tables. After being allocated our table for two, we got given the menu and this other waitress came over to take our order in a “don’t give a rats ass” attitude, then walked off looking like she ran out of strength to lift up her feet (maybe she’s had a long day?). We were hungry at the time so really didn’t want over analyse the situation. The food came out pretty fast. Well, my husband’s food did, so I watched him eat for 5 minutes before my mine arrived. We quickly ate and were in no mood to sit there and have a good time so we decided to get the bill and since none of the waitresses bothered to look our way, I got up to pay at the cashier, hoping maybe, this time, I will be acknowledged and treated like a respected customer – but No. The cashier lady (which was also the front counter lady) did not look at me throughout the entire process, not for even a second. She said “thanks mam” to the cashier in front of her upon completion of payment. I walked out deciding that I’m not coming back here. It’s unfortunate because I love Japanese food but having to experience the foul attitude each time is just...

DO NOT GO HERE AND EXPECT AN ENJOYABLE DINING EXPERIENCE. This place is the worst franchise/restaurant in Sydney. It’s not even a Japanese restaurant. No customer service, all waiters at the restaurant looked as if they just woke up. We were not even greeted when we entered, nor when we paid the bill. Most importantly, we ordered the Wagyu Udon and Wagyu Ramen, two fairly simple traditional japanese dishes. We were served with soggy noodles, cabbage, zucchini, capsicum and Bok Choy in a pool of oil. They advertise Wagyu beef but I’m pretty sure they buy flank steak from woolworths and then spit in it. I’m fairly certain they didn’t have the right ingredients and instead just chucked in whatever was in stock. Lastly, you could have no staff in this restaurant and it would be a nicer place to dine at. I also saw the owner of this franchise commenting on reviews calling customers ridiculous. If your owner has this mindset, they might as well stop operating. How about the owner actually pay his workers properly so they want to be there and on top of that actually give the customers what they pay for? Can’t wait for the owner to comment on this, I’d love to see...
