7th Heaven Cafe Kirrawee — Restaurant in Sydney

I tried sending an email via your website, as I did not want to bring it to Google Reviews. Sadly, when I try to submit something via your contact page it keeps saying "Email not sent"

Overall atmosphere and aesthetic of your cafe is 10/10, I loved the ambiance and it was just an overall calming and beautiful environment.

My partner tried to order the Nashville burger and we were told that there was none left, the person that served us was apologetic, which she didn't mean to be as it wasn't her fault, but she was so lovely about it and when I asked if we could substitute it with the chicken tenders she went to see if that was okay and the kitchen good took care of my partner, thank you so much for that!

Unfortunately that was where all the positives ended. We had a table for 4 come in on Sunday at 1pm. I ordered the bacon and egg roll and added avocado, and a mocha. I was so surprised to see how big my bun was vs the little filling that was in it, there was easily a 1cm radial gap from where the fillings ended vs where the bun ended, im no chef but I know that this is alot of straight bun to be eating with no filling. The bacon was undercooked and the hashbrown was just very bad.

However, we waited learly 20 minutes for someone to come to our table to take our order, we had asked if we could get table water which never came, I had to ask for cutlery as we received our food with nothing, I wasn't given a spoon with my mocha either and there was no salt and pepper on our table :( By this point we just got tired of asking for things and stopped.

There were definitely some great things about the cafe, and the staff were so lovely, but there were alot of little things that just made the allover experience non enjoyable, when we told a friend about this experience he said that he had the same issue on the food quality and allover experience too.

Hopefully things get better in future as we would love to come back and have food that tastes as good as it looks and a nice...

I’ve been several times now, and each time there is an issue, in particular with service. Examples:

Ordered a vegan pistachio lime slice, expecting to be simply handed it, as it was cold and RIGHT THERE. Only for the server to take my name, payment and then disappear out back. I lingered and eventually caught him asking how long he’d be. (Not a fan of the slice, felt like I was biting coconutty butter. Lime wasn’t tart, no noticeable pistachio, base was bland and mush almost in texture)

Ordered banana butterboy cookie only to hear, it was mislabelled, it was actually another flavour. What the heck - ordered that, opted for it to be heated. Left for maybe 10 mins (it was a while), I go back in, ‘sorry for the wait, here’s your cookie’ —the wrong flavour. I return and ask for the correct flavour, they apologise, then another 5-10 mins wait to heat a cookie. (Not a fan at all of the granola butter boy cookie, but hey, personal preference there - a friend loves them, I think the butter is overpowering and find them a bit mushy)

Ordered another cookie, cold. Long wait again, but received faster. (Disliked banana butterboy cookie. Ok, so these cookies aren’t for me)

Some previous orders: Pistachio matcha drink: where’s the pistachio? Ah, a paste at the bottom. I couldn’t taste it, and the drink was milky, I couldn’t taste the matcha very well. Strawberry smoothie: not distinguishable strawberry taste, and the seeds made it quite undesirable. Acai bowl: overpriced, had better. pistachio milkshake: good, very filling, you’ve been warned. (Approved) Vanilla milkshake: very vanilla-y, approved!

I don’t know why I keep going back. The staff are nice and peppy, but the waits are unnecessary — not a fan of the...

2 adults and 1 picky child (not vegan, vegetarian or GF) wasn’t keen on trying “taro pancakes” so opted for a kid’s toasted sandwich with 1/2” thick toast! She ate half & said it was Meh! I was rather Unimpressed with the Mediterranean big breakfast (usually share a big brekie with the wife and just add on a few extras, glad we didn’t) poached eggs were hard! 1 single slice of dry sourdough toast no butter, 2 small rounds of bacon (not 2 rashes), 1 single mushroom, some unidentifiable pickled vegetables & a shredded turnip 🤮, Turkish cheese! Was that the dip? & beans that looked as appealing as vegan dog food, however the cherry tomatoes were pretty good! Wife didn’t mind her meal. drinks were ok except for the mixup with the wife’s milkshake being served in a kid’s takeaway cup & daughter’s juice coming in a decorated cocktail glass! Overall meal presentation was fantastic and service wasn’t bad. Would recommend this place if you have vegan, vegetarian or GF requirements as this appears to be a specialty as they have vegan, veg & GF options listed for most dishes on the menu. I don’t think we’ll return as it’s just not for me, I just want good bacon and eggs, I don’t need 3 pretty flowers on my plate, just want to know where the rest of the bacon 🥓 is 🤷‍♂️ Oh and if you have vegan, vegetarian or GF requirements they have these options as substitutes for most items on the menu! It clearly states this 37+ times...
