Located at South Village, Shop G10/580 Princes Highway, Kirrawee, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺 I came here tonight because I felt like Thai food but wanted to go somewhere different. I definitely was NOT disappointed. This restaurant is fantastic. To start with, the staff were so welcoming and attentive. We were greeted warmly from the beginning and nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant itself is designed with a modern twist, not just your usual Thai restaurant decor, very appealing. I ordered the prawn dumplings to start with they were so delicious, costing $17.90. Next I had the green curry chicken for $20.90 and Jasmin rice for $4.00. Absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend the Roti Bread as a side for $4.00. Great to dip into your sauce. It’s definitely not the cheapest of Thai Restaurants but the food is absolutely worth the price, adding in the first class service. It’s definitely a popular place which speaks well for it. We were there on a Monday night and it was packed. I would most definitely recommend this wonderful culinary delight. A HUGE thumbs...
Read moreWe ordered takeaway for pick up at the restaurant. Where to begin. As we are new to the area we looked at where we needed to pick up and first of all the location on Google is incorrect. This place is actually inside the South Village shopping mall. We had to call the shop to get directions as we were wandering around near the Highway and surrounds for a while. We ordered Pad Thai, Green Curry and Rice. A little pricey for takeaway and food unfortunately was very very ordinary. Pad thai was very dry and almost tasted old - like it had been kept from lunch time or something. The flavours were also quite mild and bland. Curry was a little better but again lacked flavour. Unsure if we were just unlucky or the quality for takeaway varies as it seems there are many rave reviews. It's a shame this wasn't better as we frequent this...
Read moreFormerly known as Thairiffic, Ros Niyom has undergone a change, though the menu remains quite similar and the decor is unchanged. During our visit, we ordered a variety of dishes including beef massamam, papaya salad with softshell crab, chicken pad thai, prik khing crispy pork, tom yum fried rice, and chilli jam soft shell crab. We found all the dishes to be good and flavorful, though the tom yum fried rice lacked the distinctive taste we were expecting. Unfortunately, a leak from the roof occurred during our visit, but the staff was quick to address the issue by promptly moving us to another table.
Overall, we still consider Ros Niyom to be a great Thai restaurant, especially given the added benefit of being able to use Liven...
