I recently had the pleasure of visiting Urbano Organic Coffee Traders and I was blown away by the exceptional coffee and commitment to sustainability. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made me feel right at home.
One of the things that stood out to me the most was the quality of the coffee. Urbano Organic Coffee Traders sources their beans from sustainable, organic farms, and it truly shows in the taste. I tried their signature blend and it was rich, aromatic, and incredibly smooth. As a coffee lover, I appreciate the attention to detail and the dedication to providing a high-quality product.
Not only does Urbano Organic Coffee Traders prioritize quality, but they also care deeply about sustainability. They are committed to fair trade practices, which ensures that farmers are paid fairly for their hard work. They also prioritize using environmentally-friendly practices, from their packaging to their waste reduction efforts in the shop. It's refreshing to see a coffee shop that is so conscious of their impact on the environment and the communities they source from.
The staff at Urbano Organic Coffee Traders were friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about their coffee. They took the time to educate me about the different types of coffee they offer and answered all my questions with enthusiasm. It's evident that they are true coffee connoisseurs who take pride in what they do.
The ambiance of the coffee shop was cozy and inviting, with plenty of seating options for relaxing or working. I appreciated the free Wi-Fi and the comfortable seating, which made it a great spot for getting some work done while enjoying a delicious cup of coffee.
Overall, my experience at Urbano Organic Coffee Traders was exceptional. The high-quality coffee, commitment to sustainability, friendly staff, and cozy ambiance make it a must-visit for any coffee lover who cares about quality and sustainability. I will definitely be returning for my coffee fix and recommending it to all my...
Read moreThis restaurant is the only one of it's kind in the area and should do quite well for that reason alone.. the aesthetics are nice, although the front counter is very busy (cluttered) but I guess they are trying to be a restaurant and a coffee house etc.. anyway there's a lot happening there.
Table service can be super poor particularly if you're sitting outside. On several occasion's I have had to get up and self service for menu's, cutlery, serviettes & ask to have my order taken etc..
But this is the thing that got me most.. I ordered a top shelf gin (Hendrick's) instead of having it with just tonic I wanted half tonic / half soda water, which equates to a dash of tonic & a dash of soda water.. The cost of my drink was made up of three seperate charges, the fee for the gin (which was the menu price listed for gin) and two seperate soft drink charges. I though that obviously they had made a mistake (knowing I hadn't had two soft drinks) and asked the waiter about it but he explained that it was the way the restaurant charges the drinks. He himself was quite embarrassed by it and though it was the wrong thing to do but it was the way the owners chose to run the bar billing.. I'm still totally perplex as to why they think it's okay to charge someone for three drinks in this instance. Perhaps they should just raise the standard charge of the gin and save themselves the embarrassment..
I could have easily given them 2 stars but am trying to be fair (not so harsh) based on some of the tasty dishes we've had there, the aesthetics, and some of the more pleasant interactions we've experienced over a longer period of time.
Needless to say I have not returned since the gin incident, simply because I found it to be rude.
Note, this is not an inexpensive restaurant either, a simple dinner for 2 can easily set you back $100 so I guess a level of service and decency...
Read moredespite the promising concept of organic coffee and a cozy ambiance, Urbano fell short in several crucial aspects during my recent visit. as someone within the food industry with a keen awareness of customer expectations and operational standards, I was distinctly unimpressed.
the cafe appeared severely understaffed during my visit yesterday. understanding the challenges of running a busy food service establishment, I know firsthand the importance of adequate staffing to maintain service efficiency and customer satisfaction. effective staffing is crucial not only for prompt service but also for fostering a positive atmosphere where every customer feels valued. in the competitive landscape of specialty coffee, where service quality is paramount, finding the right balance in staffing is essential for enhancing the overall customer experience.
beyond the staffing issues, the prices were unjustifiably high. the quality of products and coffee did not justify the elevated cost. customers expect a seamless blend of quality and value in their coffee experience, yet Urbano failed to deliver on both fronts during my visit. what truly astonished me was the price of a slice of cake—$15!
while I empathise with the challenges that businesses face, especially in the hospitality industry, these issues significantly impacted my experience at Urbano. despite the potential for a great experience with their organic coffee offerings, the combination of those issued made this visit...
