Anar Charcoal Chicken — Restaurant in Sydney

I visited Anar Charcoal Chicken to try their food, but unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The customer service was poor: staff members, especially Sucria, did not smile or show any friendliness, which leaves a negative impression from the very beginning. I believe the manager should ensure staff like Sucria are properly trained to be polite and welcoming, because this is essential if they want customers to return.

Cleanliness was also a major concern. The cooking area looked dirty, the walls were greasy, and the staff had unkempt hair with no proper hair protection. This reflects a lack of hygiene, which is unacceptable in a food establishment.

As for the food, the chicken was bland and lacked flavor. The only thing I found enjoyable was the tabbouleh salad, which was fresh and tasty.

Sadly, this was my first and last visit. Between the poor hygiene, unfriendly service, and disappointing chicken, I cannot recommend...

This place sure is one splendid grilled chicken shop, with a range of tasty burgers. I've never enjoyed Oporto but if I was to imagine what they tasted like back before they were a terrible fast food chain I imagine it would have the same wholesome ingredients and down to earth flavours that Anar has. Anar love to put chilli sauce on their burgers. I for one do not eat much of the spicy stuff, but this sauce was just hot enough to enjoy without melting my face off. Chicken was prepared fresh, good on them. Thus it wasn't dried out. The chips had a good crunch and the chicken salt distribution was satisfactory. Service was nice. We had dinner here at Anars Homebush. Ordered the chicken family meals which consisted of a full chicken, chips, pickles, garlic and salad (we chose the tabouli) and soft drink. The chicken was hot, succulent, tender and it packed flavour. Their choice of seasoning was amazing and the chicken was cooked perfectly. Well-done team. The only feedback I can give would be the tabouli was roughly chopped and there were small stems from the parsley. Otherwise all other ingredients seemed to be available in the tabouli. If the owners were not Lebanese I’d appreciate the tabouli being off standard however I think they should give it a little more attention to detail.
