I can confidently say my visit to this cafe was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. From start to finish, it was an exercise in incompetence.
To begin, our order was forgotten and the staff had to come and ask what we’d ordered. After what felt like an eternity of waiting, we were served the wrong food. I specifically ordered toast and jam—simple, right? Instead, I was presented with a soggy cheese toastie slathered with jam, an absolutely baffling combination that no one in their right mind would order.
The coffee was even worse. It was bitter, over-extracted, and completely undrinkable—an insult to anyone who remotely appreciates a decent cup of coffee. Calling it a beverage would be generous; it was more like punishment in a cup.
The lack of care and basic competence at this cafe is shocking. It felt as though no one was paying attention, and the overall attitude screamed indifference. If this place wants to stay in business, they need to start with the basics: listen to customers, get orders right, and learn how to make coffee that doesn’t taste like burnt disappointment.

Read moreW.A.M Cafe is run by locals Sami and Chris plus their friendly staff who make this place an enjoyable place to drop in for a coffee or bite to eat.
