I was looking up places nearby our outing that my sister and i could relax and eat at and came across this cafe. I saw that all their items were gluten free and had to take my gluten intolerant sister here. seeing her face when i told her all the items here were gluten free really made it worthwhile to me. We got the Beef and onion meat pie along with a chocolate eclair and an almond milk latte. we had to ask a worker there to reheat the pie but outside of that, there were no issues.
The pie when reheated had a delightful buttery crust and the meat was soft. i regret digging into the pastry lid first before it was reheated, i can only imagine how crisp it would have been. the chocolate eclair was so good! i'd have that over the traditional eclair even. the almond milk latte was nice, didn't leave any harsh after taste. any alternative milk from Milklab is always good. My sister decided to buy a berry tart and croissant to go afterwards. We tried a bit of the berry tart it was so good too. i look forward to her telling me how the croissant is.
The workers were friendly and the vibe the cafe gave was quite relaxing. This place showed me that gluten free options can be wonderful too and it makes me happy...

the staff are not trained to consider the minimum hygiene: they take cash from people and with the same hand touch the 'the inner side' of everyone's coffee cup when they hold it to write the coffee order on them. Two little ladies, not the barista lady, also are often confused on using the right box size for your a-few-item-order; it is either too small that they end up giving you extra loose paper bags or the box is too large that the pastries loosely move around and destroyed before they get home in transport. Both two little ladies, not the barista, are often slow and confused when taking orders and take so long to capture the order and the payment.
I am sure with a bit of hygiene training for the staff and using smart staff for order taking, things will improve to match the...
