Been there on a Monday night, as soon as I walk in 20,40pm they remember me that kitchen close in 40 minutes, not even good evening how are you, but I understand maybe has been a long day. I didnât even have time to look at the menu and the waiter was asking if I was ready. Felt a bit of pressure. Was 2 of us, I order 3 pizzas, they come out one at the time as I asked which I appreciated. At the end of our dinner me and my partner we were calculating how much tips were we supposed to leave, we both work in hospitality and we always leave tips. Than something happen, one of the waiter turned off the light with written âpizzaâ, and the other waiter screamed âdonât turn it off now, donât be like that, just wait!â. A clear signal that we were supposed to leave, because he wanted to go home. I totally get it, I work in hospitality since 10 years, I work in one of the biggest fine dining in Sydney, I understand what does it mean wait for the last guest to leave, and itâs not nice when youâre very tired, but at the end of the day we choose to work in the industry, it is what it is. I live in Bondi junction and if I want a pizza rosso pomodoro is the place where I want to eat, but after that time I donât think I will go back. Maybe in the future, when that waiter wonât be there anymore. I hope this is a constructive review, donât want to upset...
Read moreI am sorry to say that my recent dining experience at Rosso Pomodoro was marred by an incident that left me feeling deeply disappointed. While enjoying dinner with a friend, I witnessed the cashier at the restaurant treat delivery drivers in an extremely rude and disrespectful manner.
The lady on the till instructed the drivers to wait outside as if they were animals, using a tone that left no doubt about her disdain for them. This behavior was unacceptable, and it was disheartening to see someone representing the restaurant in such an unprofessional manner.
Despite the unfortunate incident, the food at Rosso Pomodoro was quite good. The pizza was delicious and authentically Italian, with fresh and flavorful toppings. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also pleasant, with a warm and inviting ambiance.
However, the negative experience with the staff member left a sour taste in my mouth and detracted from an otherwise enjoyable evening. It is my hope that the restaurant takes steps to ensure that all customers and staff members are treated with respect and professionalism, and that incidents like this one do not occur again in the future.
Overall, while the food and atmosphere were enjoyable, the disrespectful behavior towards the delivery drivers was unacceptable, and it is something that should be addressed by the management of...
Read moreTo EVERYONE: AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS - THE STAFF IS RUDE I had an awful experience here. The owner (elderly lady with glasses) had a behaviour nothing short of disgraceful and appalling
Should have read all these poor service reviews below before coming - my experience just confirmed this. When I asked if they offered a cross-menu option, she confirmed it was OK to bring the food from the restaurant next door as both restaurants are under the same ownership. After we placed and paid the order in from the other part of their restaurant, she changed her stance and said this would not be possible. Very petty and shameful service as when we tried to provide feedback, the lady started shouting at us and facepalming. Left absolutely shocked.
To the owner: Your attitude was utterly disrespectful, and itâs deeply disappointing to see such poor customer service coming from someone in charge. Respect and professionalism go a long wayâsomething you should seriously consider before it's too late. AND YES IT IS OK TO EAT THE FOOD WE PAID FOR. ...
