Woolooware Golf Club — Restaurant in Sydney

Visited the club Tues 23rd Aug 2022, 10 of us thought we'd be loyal as we've been before. This time the food on the whole HONESTLY was DISGUSTING. The owner wasn't there this night, I asked. Firstly the cheese garlic bread was frozen. Secondly most of us had seafood based dishes PROBLEMS GALORE, all from overseas out of a packet, everybody barely touched anything, all battered undercooked especially the chips. I had creamy garlic prawns, should've known better, was I crook the next day. Last thing having the hide to charge $4 a person to eat a slice of birthday cake even though we had plates on the table was WRONG, young staff member following management rules JOKE, we spent $500 collectively. JD watch your chef when your absent their lazy including floor staff not bringing the whole order to our table. THIS REVIEW IS TRUE AND HONEST SORRY YOU NEED TO KNOW. Liaised with CLUB management the next day they advised CAKEAGE charge was the BISTRO owners decision not the CLUBS. Let customers know JD'S charges this and let club staff know it's BISTRO'S management not CLUB management to clear up any confusion should people complain...

Course is in great condition, but bring your patience.

Woolooware Golf Course is usually in top nick — greens roll true, fairways are well maintained, and it’s a lovely layout. But every round here feels like it’s being played in slow motion. You’re almost guaranteed to be stuck behind a group of retirees who seem to think they’re in the final round of the Masters, not just out for a casual hit.

Pace of play really needs attention. The pro shop staff are friendly enough, but there’s got to be more effort put into managing the field and keeping things moving. A beautiful course shouldn’t take five hours...

What a surprise this local club is.. Great views over the golf course, terrific food with really good specials, and wonderful service at both food and beverage stations. Easy parking makes it a great option to busy Cronulla Mall Lunch and dinner always available with a selection of board specials that changes constantly.
