I’ve heard the coffee is great (and when you see the local cops grabbing a coffee each day you know it must be the best in town), it’s opposite my place so I’ve been really hoping for some better food options for brunch/lunch but every time Mum pops across she only returns with a coffee or some small bit of food which she throws away just saying “still disappointing”. I hate leaving anything negative and cafes come and go so frequently in the Valley that it must be very difficult business to cater for. But they definitely need to improve on their range of food. It’s always busy but is it just because of great coffee? Keep going, I know it takes time. Read moreI’m honestly baffled by the lack of any kind of greeting or acknowledgement when you walk into this café. Over the past three weeks of visiting, there’s never been a “hi,” no “welcome,” not even a nod. If they look at you at all, it’s just a blank stare until you initiate/order.
It sets a really poor tone, which is a shame because the coffee and food are actually very good. A simple greeting costs nothing but makes a huge difference. It’s a nice space, but it’s hard to feel comfortable...

The only complaint I have is the serving size is all over the place, I only ever order smashed avo - sometimes it's one piece of bread with avo and a huge load of salad and sometimes its two pieces of bread, sometimes I get balsamic and sometimes I have to ask for it. Once I didn't get the beetroot hummus.
More consistency would be great or a discount when there's only a half serve...
