Mudroom Cafe — Restaurant in Tasmania

I have been coming here for the chocolate milkshakes and sandwiches for a while now and I have to say they are some of the best I have ever had. The service is amazing, all staff are professional and kind, always greeting with a smile. I have seen a few negative reviews left after an incident with an employees mother and the boss of the store and would like to share how unfair the mother of the worker was being. I visited Mudroom Café in Huonville for the first time. The café is located in the complex with Woolworths and other shops. I ordered my usual dirty chai, and I must say it pleasantly surprised me—slightly different from what I’m used to around Tasmania, but very enjoyable. The only downside is that the café closes at 2 pm on Saturdays, which doesn’t leave much time to sit and enjoy a proper coffee. I saw a disagreement between a lady & daughter with the owner regarding hundreds of dollars owed to the young lady. The owner of the Mud Room eventually said he would pay them, but refused to say when! I have seen bad treatment of staff before and cafe owners can be the best or worse of bosses.
