Nestled in the heart of picturesque St Helens, this charming cafe exudes a welcoming local ambiance and serves up exceptional coffee. What sets this place apart is its intimate outdoor seating area where you can bask in the sunshine while indulging in delicious food. With a menu that caters to all tastes, including the mouthwatering Avo, eggs, and beetroot relish on sourdough (add some crispy bacon for an extra treat), every bite is a delightful culinary experience.

For those passing through St Helens, a visit to this cafe is a must-do. The inviting atmosphere and excellent coffee make it a stand-out spot in town, perfect for a relaxing meal or a quick caffeine fix. The attention to detail in the presentation of dishes creates an ambiance that transports you to a quaint cafe in France. The staff, including the friendly waiter with stylish sunglasses, provide top-notch service, ensuring a memorable dining experience for every patron.

Upon visiting, I was captivated by the spectacular food offerings and the impeccable presentation that added an elegant touch to each dish. The menu caters to various preferences, allowing guests to customize their orders, a thoughtful touch that enhances the overall dining experience. The prices are reasonable, considering the quality and generous portions, especially the decadently loaded avocado servings that leave you more than satisfied.

In conclusion, this cafe is a hidden gem that deserves multiple visits, as echoed by my wish for a longer stay to relish another meal. The delectable dishes, attentive service, and inviting decor make it a must-visit destination for anyone in or passing through St Helens. Prepare to be pleasantly surprised and enticed by the flavors and experiences that await you at this charming...

It's a rare thing to find such an absolute gem,but this Cafe is fantastic. We wondered in around 10am Monday morning and it seemed like every single person in the town was there! ( Busy is a very good sign in a sleepy little town where everything else looked dead). The place has a really lovely, welcoming eclectic vibe.We were on a long mountain bike ride after so decided to share the hot smoked salmon omelette. Thank goodness we did! It was massive! It was plenty for the two of us,and it was exceptional. We loved it so much we went back for coffee again yhe next morning and yesterday as well amd had the same smoked salmon omelette with a side of home made beans that were also fantastic. The right balance of spice and heat.Coffee was also the best we have had( and we are fiends for coffee) anywhere we have been this far in Tasmania. They happily split the breakfast onto two plates yesterday and even garnished both which was a nice touch. As a chef of 30 years I rarely would hold a place in such high esteem but I'm definitely going back there for breakfast on my way back through. The other menu items looked amazing as well amd...

Went to this amazing cafe 4 days in a row each experience very different in regard to service and food. First day incredible - second day very slow service lined up like sheep to order (definitely needs a far better system) but the food came out hot and well presented. Third day slow again the staff member walked around looking lost trying to find the table to deliver our food 2 . The 4th day (a Tuesday) took the cake ordered a hot chocolate (extra hot extra chocolate w marshmallows) came to the table 15 minutes later warm no extra chocolate -politely took it back to be redone- this time it cane back hot no extra chocolate nor marshmallows - asked the staff member for marshmallow’s when she got a chance - rude woman no smile came back and almost threw them on the table and walked away. Food came out lukewarm to top it off - again it was redone. $32 brunch each for 5 people at our table which is ok money wise over the days we visited a considerable amount - but you lacked service you lacked hospitality - only one staff member smiled with confidence the rest blank sour faced women who really shouldn’t be in this...

Sco & Co. and The Lifebuoy Cafe is a pleasant spot to stop by for breakfast. The coffee is nice, though the hot chocolate is just so-so. The bacon and eggs, toast, and sourdough all have great taste, making for a delicious meal. There are plenty of seats available, including outdoor seating, which adds to the relaxed atmosphere. The staff are friendly and welcoming, enhancing the overall experience. Despite having many customers, the cafe doesn’t feel busy or overly crowded, which is a pleasant surprise. It’s a nice place to unwind and enjoy a good breakfast. Additionally, there’s a bucket of books available for sale at just 1 AUD each, so you can grab one if you’re in the mood for some reading. Overall, it’s a lovely place to visit for a tasty breakfast and a cozy atmosphere.
