Few issues during our visit to Island time today. Firstly, ordering a soy latte which wasn't soy, then being 'told' twice by the waitress it was. It wasn't. Secondly, waiting over 40minutes for our meals, while others around us who ordered after us got theirs. Thirdly, upon ordering the Waikiki bowl which stated haloumi along with vegetables on the menu, we were given a single thin strip, smaller then a single kitkat finger. Not to mention the poor amount of other ingredients in the bowl, aside from dry quinoa. To top it off the second meal we ordered - bruschetta with truffle mushrooms... 1 small slice of toast with chorizo & 1 egg, with a dribble of spinach doesn't add to be $17. The nail on the head was the truffle mushrooms which first were forgotten, then came with no ounce of truffle and upon asking the waitress about it she stood there and insisted it did. She then came out again and went to another table and straightened the items on the table and collected a couple of items. Still no-one so we decided to leave. This has always been a problem with this cafe. I'm not sure who oversees the staff but maybe it would be a better idea to scrap the table service and let people order inside. This is not the first time this happened. I'm very hesitant to dine here for this reason however the person I was...

We grabbed lunch there yesterday but ordered 2 large take away coffees to go. The coffees were really bad unfortunately. They were mistakenly made in mugs, and while the lovely waitress admitted her mistake in not making take away, she proceeded to pour the coffees into take away cups. They lost all heat, foam and presentation and they were at least an inch short of the top of the cup.
We love island time, it's always been one of our local go-tos. Everything about it is usually on point. But from here on out we'll be getting our coffee from Luna...
