I visited Avalanche Café around 3 PM and had a really enjoyable experience. It’s a small and cozy little café right behind the Thredbo card kiosk with toilets nearby, making it super convenient. We ordered a veggie burger and a cheeseburger, both of which were freshly prepared and delicious,the veggie burger was hearty and satisfying while the cheeseburger had that perfect comforting balance of flavor. They also had freshly made donuts available, which added a sweet bonus to the meal and showed how much care they put into their food. When I asked for a refund (after almost eating the avocado) the woman was nice, but the shaved head man was extremely rude, questioning my allergy saying “oh really, what’s it called then? Avocado allergy?” and saying it was ridiculous that a vegetarian doesn’t like avocado (despite me having already explained my allergy). He then proceeded to snatch the wrap out of my hand and throw it in the bin. Extremely rude. Unfortunately, the coffee was over-extracted and far too bitter to enjoy. Even after asking for some hot water to balance the taste, it was still quite unpleasant, so I ended up throwing it away.
