It's a small, cosy little pizzeria that is quite pricey, but none-the-less my wife and I loved the place.
The sign said pizza and craft beer, and that's what we got. The pizza and salad we had were top notch. The owner had a good range of bottled/canned craft beer that I hadn't tried before as well as several old favourites, and he made some really good recommendations. All the staff were friendly even though the place filled within 10 minutes of opening and they were run off their feet.
There's a few people complaining, and their experience is their own, but I suspect they had some sticker shock at the prices (the menu is at the front door - you can decide before you go in). I've also found that staff often reflect your own attitude - if you think staff are rude, maybe take a look in the mirror... Also, get there a little earlier than 6pm if you like to eat early. There was quite a crowd gathering at their door at that time. It seemed to empty a bit after 7.30pm if you like to eat later. In between - you will probably be turned away.

We were happy that they were open at all so I'm generously giving them three stars, and the staff were very nice. But if there had been a dominoes or similar chain around i would have suggested you go there instead, at least you would get what you pay for.

How do you get a worse version of the common pizza box? Make it not stay as a box you can close easily while eating pizza, apparently.
Basically this feels like a place with potential but in need of figuring...
Read moreWow! Okay where to start, this old gem has had its highs and lows over the years, I’m happy to say the new owners of T-Bar Restaurant has set a new standard for delicious tasty food in Thredbo Village.
The pictures say it all. The restyled dining room, the fairy lights over the ceiling add to the friendly snow village ambience. This one is back on the must visit when in Thredbo. Make sure you book well in advance to make sure you get a table.
The meatballs are a must for entre, better than nonas! The veal was my pick for main course, the veal cooked to perfection, oh and the sauce! Don’t forget to try the sticky date for dessert.
Will definitely be back, well done T-Bar team!
Make sure the schnapps cart visits...
