This is why I despise Subway: You attempt to order an item from their menu at the counter, for example the "Smoking pork belly" because the photo looks good. There is a photo of the item on their menu. It should be straight forward for the staff to assemble that item, but no. You get asked what kind of bread. So you stare at the photo of the item and try to guess what bread is in the photo. You might guess correct, or you might guess incorrect. You get asked what kind of cheese. So you once again stare at the photo and notice it has slices of cheese. So you say "sliced", but they have 2 kinds. How is the customer expected to know the correct cheese to put into the item if the customer has never had the chance to eat the item before? You get asked "fresh or toasted"? The photo looks like it's fresh, so here the answer is "fresh". You get asked what you want in the sandwich besides the meat. So you look at the photo again and yell out each ingredient as you spot it in the photo: Lettuce Tomato Onion Cucumber Why is the customer expected to do this? Why can't the staff look at the photo, or even a recipe, of they don't know? You get asked what sauce. The photo clearly shows BBQ sauce, so I'm expecting this to be included. But I guess he was hungry himself. Would like to see the restaurant care a bit more about their drivers taking their customers food. But I suppose you can run your business how you want.
