Deffinatly wouldn’t rate these anywhere near best pies. My potato pie the base pastry was luke warm plus the pastry was quite thick on the base. So thick where it closed with the lid pastry on top that was was soggy and tasted raw. The potato on top had no seasoning and all round not an enjoyable experience. The meat flavour inside was nice tasting but that was it. We also had the spicy pork pie. Again the inside was nice tasting but the pie base was thick and soggy in some areas like it wasn’t rolled out evenly. I also ordered a walnut and pecan little tart. Mock cream on top was extremely disappointing already leaving a bad taste to the whole experience. I scraped that off and when I bit into the rest of the tart it tasted like chalk. So terrible I spat it out and threw the rest of the tart out. On a side note my husband did have a sausage roll that was super delicious. I had such high hopes when I saw all the awards on the wall and everything in the cases looked beautiful. Unfortunatly taste didn’t follow through.
