Beautiful as always even though it was overcast. Nice to even sit in car on a rainy day & watch the Pelicans, some of them are incredibly tame & waddle right up to the car window hoping for a piece of fish. They are also scavengers. Don't know if they are all like that, but a couple waddled up to a ladies's bag on the ground. She had her back to them, turned round at just the right moment, and they had a few things scattered on the ground. We were too far away to see exactly what they'd taken - and didn't know from the angle of the Bird, just what it was doing. They quickly walked off though, when the lady called out to her husband (he'd been fishing so maybe the birds were after the fish). Moral of the story: Keep your eye on your bags or your food when...
