I'd recommend it, worth trying and we'd definitely go again. We all enjoyed it. One us when asked said his meal was "oh, lovely" (the slow cooked lamb). The staff were extra friendly and you could tell they really wanted to make sure we felt welcome and looked after. A friendly greeting right away, no trouble with a last minute change to the booking time, they explained all we needed to know about the food and drinks and generally ensuring everything was going well throughout the night. The restaurant. It's a modern looking space, really clean and comfortable, no drama at all with sitting there comfortably, enjoying a meal and a glass of wine. Thinking back on the evening it was a nice quiet place to sit and relax, no loud ambient noise, very pleasant. The food. We ate chicken skewers, calamari and slow cooked lamb. Everything was really good, the skewers are street food style and they were delicious along with the bread and dip they served it with. There was more than enough food for 3 adults and a child. Some of you who read reviews might be reading the bad reviews...but do as we did and give it a go anyway, support a place trying something new in town, it's worth it. If they did have a few teething problems in the beginning, they seem to have ironed them out now. I'll try again next time I'm in town and update. Thanks to the staff there for a...
Read moreWhen I asked the guy at the counter if they have marshmallow to go with hot chocolate drink. He said yes. I excitedly said with a big smile on my face, " I would love a marshmallow with my hot chocolate!.... Thank you!" He then said with a cold gaze " Say please!" Which made me a bit confused. And then he followed it by saying, "Here. "We" say please!" I then said, What's wrong with me saying thank you?" Apparently it wasn't good enough. I must say please & not just, thank you. Me & 2 other friends who was with me at the time were so appalled by his behaviour. My friend approached him & told him that he was higly rude & unfriendly towards me ( I'm from an Asian background). Instead of acknowledging his bad behaviour, he stood his ground & accused my friend of being aggressive & asked us to leave. I told him, shouldn't he be a bit more welcoming & friendlier to tourists like us who are supporting his bussiness, instead of being rude to us & racist towards me. With attitudes like that we are definitely not coming back nor recommend the place to any of our friends. There was hardly any customers when we were there. ...
Read moreFirst of all, I'm not here to leave any derogatory comments or badger , When we arrived we we're greeted by a lady but weren't introduced by name, the table was uneven and had a rock to it, there we're to many tables in the restaurant which made it hard to manoeuvre around when leaving the table , Mum who is 71 had to sit on a high chair with no back support and also a hard chair, the tables in front of us asked us if we wanted them to move their tables back. Food was average with very average servings, Pork souvlaki was rather grisly, Greek salad was lacking quite a few items to make it a complete salad. I can honestly say there was no fun or memorable experience eating here for mum on...
