I had found the crepes on google and suggested to my dad we come and try them for our father daughter weekly catch-up. When we got here the ladies said they didn't do crepes, so as we wandered to the shop next door to ask where the crepe place was he said it was this place and that the owner was out the front of the next shop. We went back to the crepe shop, and the ladies again said they don't do them. We were about to give up, and then dad decided to ask the owner just to see if it did or didn't exist. Thankfully, he did ask as he said yes, it does, and he can come and make them now. I think they may have stopped them temporarily or something. However, the owner made us three delicious crepes as we'd come all that way for them. And let me tell you, they were definitely worth it. We had a salmon crepe, which was our favourite savoury crepe, and a potato crepe. Both had a side of salad, which was also yummy and then finished with dessert. Of course, this was the orange crepe. Very delicious. Even though we started with all the confusion, I'd highly recommended this cafe. The other food they had there looked...

We were overall disappointed with this restaurant due to the following: No greeting upon arrival - they didn’t even look up at us. Waited over 1hour for food to arrive and we were all starving - kids were served last as for some reason making a pizza was more complicated than a main meal! 3.pizzas burnt - see photos and potatoe pizza completely tasteless and no herbs. Spaghetti meatballs was a very small portion and clearly from a can - 3 meatballs and gluggy cheap sauce spaghetti - not authentic at all!! Indifferent and unfriendly head waiter - the other ladies were friendly however. They ran out of pizzas by 8pm and it’s a pizza restaurant!! We overheard them saying this! At the end they didn’t even ask us how our meals were so we didn’t have the opportunity to give feedback - hence doing it now! The fish tank was the most interesting part- at least the fish were friendly!

We really expect more especially as the pizzas and pastas...

This place is a hidden gem. It sits away from the main set of shops in Anglesea, just a little further down. I went with my husband and son and we were all in love with the food. I ordered the chicken pesto linguine which was the best pasta I’ve ever had anywhere in Melbourne. Fresh ingredients and beautifully presented. She also catered to my no onion request without a hassle. My husband had the pepperoni pizza and it was beautiful. Great base and cooked beautifully. My son had the spaghetti bolognaise and our request for sauce on the side was plenty accommodated as he typically won’t have much pasta sauce as he isn’t a fan. Instead, my son added more and more of the sauce, finishing the plate and pretty much licking the bowl. He loved it.

The service was lovely from the mother of the chef, she was warm and kind and very accomodating.

I was very impressed. We will be back Akuna, thank you for a wonderful meal...

In serendipitous wanderings, our chance encounter unveiled a haven nestled by the sea. Amidst the waves' gentle whispers, a symphony of flavors danced upon our palates, as the savory embrace of their pizza unfolded like a sonnet. The staff, like muses, painted hospitality with strokes of warmth. A pledge echoes in the breeze - when our journey circles back, the shoreside feast shall be relived, and the memories linger like verses in the sands of time.
