The better half and I were driving around Torquay looking for something for lunch but not much open on a Tuesday so then went on to Anglesea. We stopped and had a look at the strip and stopped and had a look at this place. We both ordered pizza. Better half ordered a latte to go with and I had a beer. We saw pizzas come out for other people and thought they weren't too big, good size for lunch. We added olives to the prosciutto. Pizzas were really good, coffee was great, staff were friendly. We would go back no worries. We would try some of the desserts or pastries next time. We didn't this time only because we were full. 9/10

I have high expectations when it comes to cannoli, I have been burnt by many that claim to be "great". Look I'm not going to lie I was sceptical, but these cannoli were fabulous! Definitely top 2 in my opinion. They were creamy, and not overly sweet, so eating 3 was a piece of cake 🤣 the shell was crisp and firm, but did not crumble. And value, 3 for $10 is a great deal especially when you can eat them in a blink of an eye. The owner was nice and generous with his time for us and is a great bloke. The only regret I have is I didn't grab a coffee, but we can do that next time. 9 outta 10! Thank you

I’d say this guy is an old school raver!!! Literally!! based on his playlist... as I sit here contemplating .... “What do I do on an 8 degree celcius early morning at a seaside town like Angelasea? Grab a piping hot steak n onion pie from the bakery.. down it in 45 second flat and go grab a fantastic strong latte from a cool coffee joint like “Laneway 73” and read the happenings from a real newspaper??” I feel myself unconsciously bopping to break beats that turn into something you’d expect on a vinyl B side!! Haha ... oh hang on is he on a come down??? wooooah.. pretty friendly chilled out

I would not recommend this cafe on the basis of the rude and arrogant owners / staff. We just witnessed beyond rude behaviour to 3 different customers from the wait staff whilst waiting for our takeaway coffees in the space of 10 minutes. He was yelling at customers to move off the tables out the front of the cafe after they had bought multiple cakes and coffees from his store which they were still finishing. He claimed he needed the tables for other people waiting. Shouting very loudly at them and telling them to move and hurry up. This was extremely uncomfortable to watch, he then told a lady who was sitting on a chair whilst waiting for her takeaway to get up and move as he was re organising the tables. Another lady (who was pregnant) went to sit on a chair off to the side whilst she waited for her takeaway and was told off from the owner and told that she couldn't just move the chair and that she should sit on her husbands lap if she wants a seat. It was disgusting behaviour and I will never return to this cafe. Very disappointing to see this kind of behaviour from grown men running a cafe . They don't even deserve...

This cafe looks to have fabulous food; unfortunately my daughter and I didn't get to enjoy any of it. It was my first time staying at Anglesea and I'd never been at this strip of shops before. I was going to get take away coffee and cakes, but decided it might be a nice treat to eat in. I simply asked the guy on the till "is this the way into the cafe?" as it looked like it might just be an entry/exit for staff and was rudely told "yes .. it's not hard you know!".

This comment was really uncalled for. And the parting sarcastic "have a nice day then!" also unnecessary when I said "actually I've changed my mind, that was a bit rude".

A not very nice start to my little holiday with my 6 year old daughter after a stressful term of teaching. I can't understand why this guy thought it was OK to be so antagonistic to a mum on her own with her daughter, simply looking for a nice place to eat. It was early in the morning, it...

Good coffee, but do not go near any of the toasted sandwich, they are pre made, even the egg and bacon toasted sandwich is pre made, yuk! I got the ham and cheese once I found that out and thought I'd dodged a bullet, but nope!

The ham and cheese was literally the worst ham and cheese toasty I have ever had in my life. Dry! No butter inside. No butter on the outside when toasted, a slither of ham and hardly any cheese inside to one side. It came out so dry the bread was curled up on the sides on top. Then! And this was the weirdest thing! It came out with a butter packet sat on top....?????? I took one bite and spat it. I took it upto the waiter and then asked why it came with a butter packet on top and he said "i dont know, that just how we serve it" hahaha. Absolutely terrible. Good coffee, really bad food. These guys need to learn how to cook a toasty and start making them fresh. Pre cooked eggs and...
